dearest CCP,

I am a noob of 7 years now and can still in the heat of battle die and undock without checking my clone. Only thing is doing it these days with the skill points i have this is getting painful

Last loss was jump cal 5 which is taking 27 days to re-train, this hurt much much more than the BS5 i lost the last time i did this. (23 days retraining!)

Please, please can we have a HUGE warning when we go to undock with an out of date clone - you know like the one warns you your about to jump into low sec - you have to click ok too

Aura could shout - "wait your clone is out of date - are you sure you want to undock??"

Loosing points in the heat of battle is not the only way i have fell foul of this either, loosing points on a clone that has gone over the limit without me noticing. (BS5 in her case grrrrr)

Please, please CCP can we have a warning for this dangerous practice, i am getting rather fed up of training the same skills i swear i cant be the only noob with this problem i am sure this handy little tip will be welcomed by most hard working capsuleers

Many thanks

Sounds like PEBKAC to me :/ It's already easy enough to simply update your clone whenever you get podded, IDK why this would be an issue at all.

the issue is simple......in the heat of the moment after death in a huge fleet you can make mistakes, when you have over 60mil skill points those mistakes can be very costly, losing jump cal 5 means i can't now run logistics for my alliance as i cant make the jump.

i am told there is already a tiny warning although i have not seen it, all i am asking for is a bigger one - so in the heat of the moment, dual boxing etc you don't make a stupid and costly mistake.

A simple eve mail included with the kill mail or a pop up that can be triggered with option to disable (for those that want to live life carelessly) would be good. A simple message in that pop up could be " Just an FYI, but you used up one of your nine lives the last time you left. Do you really want to undock without a clone being placed in stand by? Oh and you're a virgin cone you dont have any implants anymore. Continue undocking? yes or no. "

For those that like the risk of inadvertantly forgetting to check, you'll learn soon enough when you dont realize you got axed and rush back out. It's fun retraining skills that you wasted vast ammounts of your time on once already. Again the pop up can be disabled. Shocked Enjoy Big smile
