i can see allot of people may see purchasing pirate ship BPCs to be worth investing in after the recent announcment that super caps will be nerfed. however super caps are not the only type of bott ratting ships out there. you may see prices go up a little but i don't think you will see a drastic change to pirate ship prices.

Worst market manipulation attempt I've ever seen.

How many people use faction BS's as a ratter? Most BS's like that are attributed to lvl 4 missioning, where you can minimize chance of loss by staying in high sec, so you're not risking the 400-1billion isk hull in 0.0.

I doubt you'll see any change to the price of the BPC's as super carrier ratting probably wasn't prevalent on any level.

Kolten, how many "botts" use supercarriers to rat? I think the answer to that question underscores the seriousness of this thread.

Well, I have lived in sovereign nulsec and npc nulsec. Faction/pirate BSes are very rarely used for ratting of any kind. The risk and potential embarrassment is too high. Mostly what you see are Carriers, Drakes, Ravens, Tengus, Noctii, sentry-laden drone boats, and ocassionally supers.

Botters don't particularly care for supers as bot ships because they are too easily caught. Has something to do with the 60 second align time I'm told. Not to say it isn't done. But every super I've ever seen ratting had an active player at the keyboard. Sometimes alt-tabbed. But always at the keyboard.

tl;dr: yeah, obvious manipulation attempt is obvious.

i don't understand the first part. i'll just assume you meant supers not faction/pirate BSes.

Supers are not easily caught lol. all they do is align to a safe spot warp when neut comes into local then cloak. they don't have to worry about leaving a drone behind since they can warp. go fly around the curse region and see for yourself.

Protip, nobody cares about faction BS's and that market isn't determined by demand at all, rather it's determined primarily by supply.

If you want to invest in something, invest in T3 gases so when they come out with new T3 ships you'll make money. That's probably years from now though, gg.
