Hey RvB maybe this can make you fell better:

Fyi Elise said you asked in local to give a few points. Myself, dancul and a few others said "Lets do it" we repeated "stop shooting" and turned off the guns then Shamis yelled "NO! RVB IS A STRONG TEAM WE NEED TO GET RID OF THEM NOW" and shot that eos

sorry friends :3

PS: shamis is so ******* old lmao

RvB should be incredibly proud of their participation this year, they went from being a "they won't make it to the group stages" team to one of the frontrunners.

RvB were definitely one of the hilights of the tourney - a total surprise package and the praise has been pretty unanimous

Well played purple, you should be feeling pretty ******* pleased with your performance right now. :)

Looking forwards to seeing what happens next year \o/

Posting in the thread so I too can say "I told ya so" next year.

Having spent a few months in RvB (Red Fed Best Fed!) it was a thrill to see them do so well this year. They were fighting like pros. Tough break that the Oneiros landed where it did, not pilot error.

I really appreciated the gossip about Shamis insisting on comms that RvB be wiped out now while they had the chance. I don't think a better compliment can be given from an opponent.

From what I saw this year, and from what I know after spending time with these guys, I too predict that RvB takes the whole thing down next year.

GO RVB!

If this year's tournament taught me anything, it is that there are way too many chance-based variables that can totally screw a team, such as warpins. Disconnects/sockets closed (I know a LOT of us have had way more problems than we should staying connected to CCP's servers lately) are a close second. Really disappointed that RvB isn't gonna get another match, and a lot of it is likely due to where their logi landed.

That's not chance, that's a positioning fuckup on RvB's part.

Not quite. Professor Clio and the RvB FC had the right idea: Keep the combat ships between PL and the RvB logi. Unfortunately for RvB, they picked a bad angle by accident, warped in their logi within punching range of PL, and got roflstomped because of it.

I wasn't surprised about RvB performance, anyone who is good at 1v1/small/med scale FR/CR fights has to be a pretty damn good pilot.

Contrary to most believes 1v1 in FR is the most demanding setup, you have a very small margin of error. I still shiver when i read tips from selfproclaimed pro PvP guys to learn PvP you only have to buy 20 Rifters and die often enough. You will learn nearly nothing as any small error will let you pop within seconds and a newb won't even know why he died.
