Lost a Drake to a Disconnection...

Hi, is it possible to get a refund for a Drake I lost to a disconnection? I was at at least 80% health when I noticed the DC occurred and when I came back it was destroyed, i wasn't scrambled or anything. My internet itself didn't DC but just the EVE client restarted after about 1 minute of waiting for the client to restard.

Could have been a game fault where it didn't warp out properly..

Just get over it. You'll get short shrift from CCP and you'll certainly get no sympathy from anyone on the forums.

That's not what I am after. And according to CCP they can offer me the ship back with all modules that were destroyed.

Unless you notice some threads reporting multiple dropouts then its just a plain old 'your problem, deal with it'. As frustrating as that is it is otfen the case. Even when I have lost a ship to times where multiple people have reported connection issues with the games and given extensive information about time of loss, network connection etc it's pot-luck.

Don't listen to the bitter vets and general losers. They're just butthurt.

Make multiple petitions at different times of the day, to get different people. Eventually someone will do it.

Okay this thread can be taken out of action, when I got back yesterday it was replaced by a GM shortly after an investigation, shame about the modules I lost though.

I didn't even petition it

Why? The logs show nothing. They never do.

The logs show different things to different people, silly. It's all in their heads. Lol

For what its worth -- ccp replaced my hound which I lost when the server went down the other day. I suppose whether they reimburse you depends on the reason for the dc.

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

They did reimburse mine. Took only 20 minutes.

I lost a tengu because of a dc just after sending ship to mission.
selected warp to pocket, and tried to turn on resists a few seconds later, when realized I got disconnected.
Re-logged, and found myself in a capsule.
Sent petition, but GM said that I got disconnected AFTER I blew up, so they can do nothing. Lost almost 2 billions isk and a good mood at the time.

was dual boxing and lost a domi and a mael in the same anon at the same time, domi was reimbursted, mael "the logs showed nothing" and was not, I should go back and re petition it, but that was like 6 months ago
