CCP, time to retire/move the "Avatar above me" threads.

Yes there is, they have absolutely no content. It's just spam, solely designed to create large inflated threads and it is getting to the point where roughly half of the first page has been taken over by them.

Between the "Rate my Avatar" "Avatar X/Y/Z Did P/Q/R and you L/M/N" "Like and get likes" threads, there are 8 contentless spam threads out of 23 unlocked threads.

It's useless tripe, and it should have been handled long ago, but now it's got to the point where the mods seem scared to lock them incase people throw a **** fit. I say do it and let them, they deserve it for driving this place into the ground content wise.

I agree, we are having too many of those. Keep one and lock the others... and keep it in OOPE, not GD.

There's no harm in those theads although the one closed earlier deserved to be closed as it was just trolling.

They don't clutter up the front page much, but then I guess some people just don't know how to turn to page 2.

Any thread you maybe following you can tag and follow anyway without looking at the front page.

Out of Pod Experience is specifically for things *completely* unrelated to Eve. Avatar threads are centrally eve related, so stop promoting the idea OOPE is where they belong. Jesus christ.

I guess having 'no content' is OK in some threads, but not in others.

But thats OK, eventually someone competent will come along, realize that those threads are not appropriate to General Discussion, and move or lock them.
Then they will kick a few ISDs in the nuts.
