So... How many points are they? Technically, they are HACs (13 points), but the exhibition stream right now shows them at 14 points, which tbh is much more fair.

I think they are 14 points because they are faction cruisers.

If you browse for them at the market they are under the same group as the navy ones.

They're scored similarly to a faction cruiser, but strictly speaking, they're considered a HAC in game.

It's why you don't see them -- with one exception (the Adrestia) they're a wasted point. Tournament frigates, on the other hand, cost the same as AF, which is why you've seen Malices.

Also, people have been actually using the Adrestia in game, because it's a really bad-ass ship on TQ. In comparison, the Vangel and Mimir are kinda bad outside of tournament fighting :(

Adrestias and the other tournament prize cruisers (Mimirs and Vangels) will be considered Heavy Assault Ships for the purposes of the 10th Alliance Tournament and will therefore officially cost 13 points this year. The tournament overlay is reading them as Faction Cruisers but we have decided that will be considered a bug for this weekend and will be overridden.

This decision has been made because the most recent official declaration of their point value was to declare them HACs (the declaration can be seen in this thread).

We cannot guarantee that tournament prize cruisers will always be considered HACs for the purposes of scoring. The tournament team will re-evaluate the point cost of tournament prize ships between now and the 11th tournament and will let the players know what is decided.

Personally, I think you should undervalue AT prizes as an attempt to get them flown in matches. Give them the same value as t1 frig/cruisers, or just above.. say 3 and 9 or 10. You could always limit the number of prizes flown per match, so you don't get a full field of awesome.

I want to see expensive ships go boom.
