Nice vids.
Couple things tho:

1. Local in WHs is not delayed, it is recent speaker.

2. Your polarity vid has an error in it at ~1:35. Jumping from WH A to WH B then to WH C will not cause any polarity, you can jump straight back to B from C.

1. isnt that the same thing?
2. yeah, I noticed, but I think people will get the idea anyways. (might add a note correcting that, re-rendering takes too long)

Well yeah, point 1 is more or less a technicality.
Basically, delayed chat is something you can set on chans and it means people dont show up when they join but rather afer 15min or whatever.
Recent speaker mode means you only show up if you talk.
(I wouldnt worry, WH local is explained fine in the vid.)

I support a sticky, this info is a must have for anyone looking to start in on wormholes.

I'd like to see more on how to survive. What to expect from Sleepers, how to make sure I don't end up neuted out and embarrassingly destroyed by them, and also ways to avoid unwanted PvP in a PvE fit ship. Tips on fittings would be much appreciated (any must have/highly recommended modules [besides scan probes of course]). Things like that.

Thanks for this :)

We have plans to cover some of these topics already, so keep an eye on this thread. We're steering away from specific fitting advice by and large because everyone has a different idea of what's a good fit for PvP/PvE in w-space. We might give general advice about what your fits should be able to do, but don't expect us to suggest a particular fit or even a particular ship for most things.

My advice. Always fly in a PvP fit. And what is this "unwanted" PvP you speak of? Bob is disappoint son.

40% mass limit status for "not to a critical degree yet" ? I've already seen 50 and 45, but 40 it's the first time. Interesting.

Except that, nice videos.

Honestly I think that value is still up for debate, but based on a lot of testing, 40 or 45% of the average mass is our best estimate, and better to under-estimate your remaining mass than over-estimate most of the time.

Entierly true.

The problem is that if it is 40%, there is no case where jumping 2 orca with no MW in/out (1000 kT total) makes the mass indication change. So I would better think it is 45 or 50%. (In a case were there is 2000 kT +/-10% total mass)

And to be honest I'm intimely conviced that it is 50%. This value depends on total mass, which is subject to the 10% variation.
If you think of it, there is no indicator in the show info that explains this variation thing. So that's not something that can be considered as commonly known. Encountering some cases were the wormhole remained stable were it shouldn't have, the 45% rumor appeared.

At least that's what my experience shows on chain collapsing of C2 statics using 2 orcas + 1 HIC. I may be wrong, because the lesser total mass is, the less accurate you are.

Yeah ive always seen it as 50% with the 10% variance.
it's very easy to test on a C2 > HS wh with an orca since it has exact mass. (2 round trips should roughly mass reduce a fresh WH.)
