If you watch the video, the designer basically took a Lotus Elise body and redesigned everything except for the cab area and dropped in a 427 dual Turbocharged motor. The concept is that he wanted something built like our old Shelby Cobra where we put huge power into a small body. In this case it is an extremely light body that weighs about 15% more than the Shelby.

0-200mph in 15.3 seconds (Your balls will have a time delay of 7 seconds before they return to you) with a theoretical top speed of 275 mph, a possible 8 mph more than the current top speed holder, the Bugatti with 268 mph.

I wouldn't expect to see too many of these on the road however with the price tag only at $1,000,000.

It's a pity that we can't get the Big 3 to think like this. They seem to have a fear of putting cars low to the ground, flattening them a bit, and putting on some F1 gear. But if they could, I think we could actually make some good competition vehicles for over the seas.

The red one looks like Max Damage's car from Carmageddon 2.

And it's large enough for Matt to fit inside, so the only barrier of entry is that pesky million bucks.

I think the Big 3 are on the wrong path entirely when it comes to the x-over crap they're building now, "cars" haven't been this tall since the 30s.

but a key part of that top speed is that it's theoretical. they can't claim that in any way until it's been proven.
also, if you want awesome take off, take a look at the areal atom. that's about 60 grand for slightly slower takeoff, and has much better handling.

Supermodel sex is overrated anyway. They're way too bony (in a bad way, as in, too skinny). Plus most have the personality of a rabid wolverine.
I'd rather bone the nice-faced mild-tempered non-skinny (and bespectacled) teacher, accountant, librarian, etc.
