CCP, time to retire/move the "Avatar above me" threads.

You know the ones I'm talking about.

"Rate the Avatar above you"
"What is the Avatar above you thinking?"
"What would you say if you woke up to the Avatar above you in bed?"
"Hate the Avatar above you"
Throw in the "Likes and Get Likes Thread"

These insipid threads obviously violate forum policy - for having no content.
They are simply pages and pages of the same jackasses bumping them over and over with more 'no content'.

Forum enforcement has been supposedly improved, right? Enough is enough - do your jobs and start locking.

OR, AT LEAST - move the mouth-breathers to another 'quieter' forum. I suggest "Features and Ideas", or at least OOPE.

This way, the rest of us do not have to constantly see them competing for slots on the front page of General Discussion.

On topic. I don't find those threads all that entertaining so I've come up with a rather unique way of dealing with it. I don't click on them.

Features and ideas? That makes even less sense. It's nice to have threads that aren't just EVE players whinging about something. EVE already has a terrible stigma for being an un-fun job instead of a game, the gaming community who don't even play EVE view it as "The spreadsheet app with spaceships sometimes" just like we view WoW as the "ezy mod derp herp game". You want to give them more ammo by cracking down on light hearted fun? EVE is cold and mean enough already.

like another poster said , it is pretty easy just to IGNORE them nor do you have to click on each thread each time you visit the forums , or is this too complex for people like you

Besides they are sometimes the better threads between all the whinning and sometimes moronic topics some of you more "serious" players come up with

I agree with the OOPE idea, not because these threads are necessarily bad, but because they're not about EVE, but something irrelevant to the game. Generally speaking every forum has some random fun and games sections, and they're in the OT (Other Topic), it's the nature of forums. But even here, I do prefer them to the constant whining threads - which I conveniently ignore. There is that option as well, you know....not obsessive-compulsively clicking every single thread...
