There's probs like 1-2k daily players (magical arse number don't take it seriously) tops that would have actually played on SR since release, maybe another 2k that have played for under 2 years, and now suddenly daily populations equal to TQ but everyone else has 3 months SP.

Being one of the only capital pilots in the game would have to be epic win, let alone a titan pilot.

HACs would be fairly godlike atm I think, with a lot of nooby BS/BC pilots running around with l3/4 skills.

judging by the vids coming out of Serenity like "Dark Ride", Chinese guys were bombing solo through 0.0 in solo pimp ships anyway

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

quite a bunch of FHC'ers are still active on Serenity (me included) and its fairly hillarious.

the 3 month missing thing was the downtime from the move from CDC to TianCity, and yes you can obviously connect your CDC account to a new TianCity account as we all did, we ended up getting the Learning Skills's SP + about 6M un-allocated SP. most of the "original invasion" crew (that we did about 1 year ago) ended up going from 6m~ SP to around 14-15M so we are rolling mostly bombers and tier3 battlecruisers.

the game will be free to play for 3 months or so (or 2 months and some days right now)

I'm guessing EVE has been integrated into the Chinese militaries officer training program, cadets must successfully FC thousand man fleets before allowed to command troops on the ground.

While I can certainly understand how you could see the chinese using Eve as a military training tool, it would be rather impractical for a ground-based military to use a spaceflight simulator to train with. Neverminding the difference in execution, air and space flight and combat operates on three different axes, not just two, for example.

Now if they were to use Dust 514, I would be more receptive to your theory. But in this case, I'm going to go with the natural population growth model.
