Probably someone hunting ships in lowsec and missed that he was back in highsec when he finally found something in a belt.

This ^^. Really, there should be a pop-warning when you jump from low-sec into high-sec.

there should be no warnings, if you're not aware of where you are going then perhaps you deserve the loss, same goes for jumping into low sec, i hate the hold your hand little pop ups in game, watch what your doing and all will be ok. last thing we need is the windows 7 style of,, are you sure you want to do this pop ups, lol

Actually on second thoughts, I agree. I've started to habitually be aware of the sec of wherever I'm going, I don't blind-jump anymore.

The window pop-ups that come up now and there are thoroughly annoying, but generally can be disabled after you view them.

That said, I don't think it'd be a bad idea to add a new warning which, like the other warnings, can be disabled after the first viewing.

i just hate pop ups, they have a ,, hold on,, lets pause this for a second and see where you are going wrong, instead of the, OMFG i won't do that again style of learning. RollBig smile

NIce :)

Come to think of it, maybe that's what happened to me not to long ago too. Two baddies tried to gank me in my tanked Badger Mark 2, survived easily the initial blasts, by then Concord came to the rescue :)

But I didn't hang around to loot any drops, I had a valuable courier run to finish and way too big a collateral to risk, and was more concerned with saving my a**

awesome.

Lost a Vagabond the same way a few years back. Running through lowsec looking for targets and finally finding a mining hulk in a belt only to realise it's highsec when Concord shows up.

It's a easy mistake to make if you're used to null or lowsec.

The pop up that you are about to commit a criminal act is some of the first things you disable when you're in lowsec.

Erm think your confusing windows 7 with windows vista, or you've never used vista lol.

to quote a friend of mine on that one "windows vista is to windows xp, what windows ME was to windows 98"

the other one after you've lived in WH/Null/LS for long periods is avoiding "shooting all them neuts you see" as well as not freaking out seeing 300+ neuts on local lol
