If you are an EVE addict like myself, you hate when EVE goes down or craps out...what ever. I have found a very simple solution.
I first remember that EVE runs wrapped up in WINE, and is horrible at how it caches information so that almost any nuance causes it to do weird stuff.

My solution when EVE misbehaves is to simply go into Time Machine browse into the: Library / Application Support / EVE online / p_drive / Local settings / application data / CCP / EVE / Tranquility / Settings. I restore this file to an earlier file when I know it was working and this usually fixes any little quirk the client picked up.

Hope it helps and if you us OSX get a cheap external HD and use Time machine it works

Greetings

I have to laugh, I always forget about freaking Time Machine when things get glitchy on my Mac. Now I will try and remember it when EVE gets upity as well.

I do the same but rather than just the settings file i restore the whole eve tree from the Application settings directory.

Best thing of all is I only have to go back an hour.
