V3, whats next?

Out of curiousity, now that almost all subcaps are V3, whats next?

t3? caps? station hangars? other in-world objects?


i would vote for a texture resolution update for station hangars, but thats me :)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

T3s already are V3 since they were released if I'm not mistaken - my guess is caps will be next.

They aren't. Just look at their exhaust. Its the old V2 style.
They also are not as dark (in case of Amarr) or washed out (in case of Minmatar).

And I would guess that Caps and stations are next... I hope so.

If they want to implement the new lighting engine they need to V3 every single object in space.. i think they said they want to do T3 next, then capitals, then stations and other objects

After V3 they will send us a pair of these for the ultimate EVE experience.

It will also be mandatory for the first 6 months until they emulate the old graphics.

Change gate and station textures to reflect the faction there - as with variations of ships.

Use cool effects to give more sense of variation to systems in large regions.

Move moons and Planets around to give that epic SciFi effect when docking and undocking from stations - lots of reflected light from planets and moons too.

I'm dreading the day they V3 the Rhea. The whole gunmetal to weird pasty yellow thing is bad enough on small ships. It will be terrifying on something that big.

CCP nuts up and is the first game company to finally tell Windows XP users to go pound sand and upgrade their hideously obsolete operating system. They drag their Direct3D 9 Rendering engine out into the middle of the street and put a 12 gauge slug in its head.

A Direct3D 10/11 rendering engine is rapidly developed due to it being an utter dream of a graphics API to work with and Eve Online can now take advantage of all that hardware we've had sitting in our PCs for the past six years that no PC game has taken advantage of in any serious way because of people still using obsolete operating systems.

A record number of suicides are recorded at CCP's head quarters when its found that their entire game art staff have experienced the greatest amount of joy they will ever experience in life and no longer feel the need to exist.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.
