So, i am just minding my own buisness in Kamela and Kouromen in The Bleak Lands, and theres this tornado always camping the gate and harassing me, so I took the law into my own hands, and it didnt end up so good for him. I sat there for about 10 mins watching him, warp to stargates and to 100 on kamela, so I decided he must die, him being a pirate, GCC would be his death, and this is what happened,

I, too, make sweeping generalizations based upon a single incident involving one individual on one of the most trafficked and violent gates in Factional Warfare space.

An interesting question. It raises not only the matter of the personal identity as mediated through a technological consensual hallucination, but also the difficulty of contextualizing and interpreting emotional content received through such virtuality vis a vis the distinction between cooler negatives such as condescension and contempt, and the more deflagratory perceptions e.g. rage and anger. And all this is to say nothing of the socially-constructed notions of mental illness implicit in the text and subtext of your argument. Ultimately, however, it is difficult to bridge the somatic disconnect between the cybernetic persona and the mundane homunculus that commands it without problematizing the material/virtual dichotomy imposed upon us by the technology we have created.

Though a laudable freshman effort, your thesis lacks substantive analytic content and fails to take into account not only the subtext implicit within each individual post, but also the meta-text unifies them into a grander narrative.

While they are a sizeable part in EVE in general, I will always give congrats to pple that manage to nail Gate Campers, Station Snipers, Can flippers, or any of the other 'cheap' method gankers as a rule. Weather the victim was fail or not is irrelevant in that regard for me.

So, congrats. ;)

if folks are stupid enough to let themselves be popped by someone doing such then its going to happen.

just as well as being stupid enough to get caught and repeating the same thing over and over.

these things happen and some people learn from it and others don't. everyone makes mistakes at times.

just as long as people can still make a joke of it when they do thats all that matters.
