So... apparently a 3 month old pilot doesn't think of everything before undocking. After a long day in the heat while it decided to rain everywhere but right where I was, I get home, log on Eve, and see that Minmitar has hit t5 again. Sweet, time to cash out some "hard" earned lp (I tell you, going in circles for up to twenty minutes can be a real tough job). So hopping over to Abudhan, I start cashing in lp only to get a third of the way thru before we drop back to t4. No problem, I can hold onto the leftover lp till next time and just live off the spoils of today. Jump into my trusty dumpster (I'm not sure what else you can call a Wreathe...) and away I go to rens. It's only one jump... what could possibly go wrong right. Hit the gate, no problem, jump thru, no problem, right click and select warp to my instant dock, what's this... why are there red flashy people in my overview!? I didn't do anything wr... Oh... FW... right... Apparently my ultimate tanked Wreathe (it's the thought that counted right) is not really a match for... well anything.

So, as you can see the clear way to help out the Amarr when they're on the losing side of the war is just to send noobs in industrials. (On a side note, I kind of wish more of my spoils had actually dropped, they deserved more for pointing out my foolishness.)

You, sir, are the type of person this game needs more of. People who can take a hit and just roll with it instead of go off sulking. In my book, you just won EVE!

On that note, sorry for your loss!

It'd be a bit odd for me to really get upset. Granted that cargo would have tripled my wallet, but I would imagine that seeing a war target casually stroll by in a giant brick doesn't exactly invoke the desire to just let it pass by. Filling said brick up to the brim with cargo was just icing on the cake.

True, but a lot of people would have raged anyway (or abused cats lol) and come to the forum to ***** and moan about this and that thing being unfaaaaaiiiiirrrrr despite the fact that what happened was totally within the rules. Instead, you figured out what you did wrong, came here to show your mistake to the world, probably expecting to be flamed slightly, and got a laugh out of it.

Humility is a rare and wonderful thing, especially on these forums.

Keep up the constructive frame of mind. It's much healthier then sulking.

Unlucky? - Maybe. Sticking 500m ISK worth in cargo in a tin can worth a few hundred thousand ISK leaves a bit to be desired from a risk management perspective. Heck hauling anything while in FW is pretty friggin risky to begin with.
