Hello All,


As stated, in the topic we need IDEA's not cool ones but GREAT AWESOMENESS ONES! So here one I like to share with the eve community forums. With all the new toys coming out in here, why can't CCP hold a player contest on naming in game item! Bear How cool would that be to hold some kind of lottery of names and see what awesome names are picked out by the players them selfs.

So how about it CCP can you help us out with this interesting idea but different idea?

Because of TTP (the speed at which people will abuse any creative license).

Also, such a system would be massively vulnerable to being trolled and people getting upset when they get offered a name they prefer for an item and it ends up something else instead. It just wouldn't add anything to the game and would cause a lot of trouble.

Also, nowhere in your topic does it talk about ideas, just something random about a lotto and claiming to be a blog (hint, a couple posts on a forum doesn't constitute a blog).

Because all of CCPs other "made by players" contests went over OH so well...
