Soundwave Soundboard competition

CCP Veritas announced a competition we would like to run during his guest spot on EVE TV last weekend. The Soundwave Soundboard was used during the qualifying weekends to bring the soothing tones of CCP Soundwave to players watching the stream. Due to popular demand we released the program which you can access by clicking here.

So what is this competition all about?

Simply compose a song using the Soundwave Soundboard, host it on You Tube or SoundCloud and post it in this thread. The song should be entertaining and fun and we will award prizes for the top three entries. The only rule that we will apply is that the song must not contain profanity as it will be broadcast on EVE TV.

The cut off for submissions will be Friday, July 20 at 23:59 UTC.

The prizes we will offer will be a mix of PLEX and goodies from our friends at Logitech as follows:

1st Prize: A G19s gaming keyboard, G600s mouse and G930s headset.
2nd Prize: A G510s keyboard, G400s mouse and G35s headset
3rd Prize: 5 x PLEX

Well here's my stab at this.

Instead of simply sticking the voiceovers into a ready track, I made a completely brand new track for this contest. Style is trance.

There's no genre restriction, someone was simply asking for a genre suggestion and I couldn't restrain myself Big smile

Thought I'd take the Name Soundrave before any other cunning bugger uses it :P

I made it in a metal/hard rock style to emphasise how bad-ass and rock and roll soundwave would be if half the things he said he did instead of hosting the first two weekends of the alliance tournament were true...

enjoy!

Edit: All the guitar was recorded after sequencing the drums and soundwave's voice... I used drum samples I recorded a year ago or so... along with a synth bass, Started it at about 19:00 GMT and finished about 23:30 GMT

As with the guy before with the trance track... this track is entirely new.
