Sov Warfare sucks.

Having dudes next door who are neutral is much more fun. IMO, CCP needs to introduce some kind of regular structured PVP like the tournaments but on a bigger scale. There should be seasons and it should be broadcasted on our screens in CQ.

Oh, and brackets for skill points.

10 hour hero brackets would be awesome.

Yeah.. like a Battle zone

-.- No WoW in my EVE please

It is not ''amazingly stupid''. It is very smart. You will come to love your big alliance and its war with Eastasia.

who?

What's wrong with having an "arena" type system? Charge people to enter, make the winnings worth less than the sum of the entry fees, that could create an isk sink. All ships/mods lost in the "arena" would be lost just like normal.

Could do weekly tournaments in each region or something, IDK. If done properly I don't think it would be so bad.

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

Nullsec big alliances are typically derp central, it's been like that forever, why does this shock you?

No, I mean tailored for EVE.

All mods/ships would need to be purchased on the open market.

Ships cannot enter the arena with meta level higher than 5.

T2 rigs get a meta 6 attached to them and this gets scripted. As do pirate implants.

There's an entry fee for isk (not plex please the price of these things can use a break) Then, the semi finals get broadcasted by CCP via "the alliance tournament" with CCP's rules etc.

Throughout the season betting can be managed in-game.

Bookie becomes a new profession.

This adds another isk sink, all mods/ships blow up which keep's EVE's economy going and it's not 'risk free' as it hurts people who invest into it the initial entry fee + their ships.

I really don't see a drawback from this. The EVE Universe carries on as it normally would but there are seasons associated with the ATX instead of just a few weeks with just a few lucky alliances who get the 'draw'.

And no, I don't suggest an Arena like other MMO's where you queue up and get insta pvp. However I'm not completely against this either, if and only if the modules/ships/implants etc are all purchased via the EVE economy. The drawback I see from this would be the fact that more people would do this instead of actually participating in New Eden PvP and is why I suggest a tournament season instead of just a few weeks of it. It would be good advertisement for CCP and turn a small portion of EVE into an e-sport which isn't totally a bad thing. It helps EVE grow.

Dual Pane idea: Click!

CCP Please Implement

Basically intel channels should only contain intel on reds and neuts. No blue intel ensures that reds only find out what they should already know if the channel is comprimised.

None invasion pact is just a mutual agreement to have none serious pvp between the two parties without escalation to full blown war. i.e. So as to not get bored and not risk a serious change in the balance of power. Imagine rvb but in null.

Oh good, the nanny came by and cleaned up. All the insults and bad words were beginning to damage my innocent little psyche. Sad

Official Recruiter for GoonSwarm Corporation.

If you paid isk to get into GoonSwarm, you were probably scammed.  If you had the foresight to save the name of your scammer, let me know and I'll do what I can to help you.

From what greyscale said during the AT, they want a dueling mechanic when they redo the crimewatch system to allow people who want to have the ability for pvp. That itself wouldn't be bad. A consentual pvp thing is excellent and needed for non null alliances and people who want to do pvp practice. I remember during highsec training of rookies, it was a pain if anybody such as friends etc who weren't in corp wanted to try.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

Keep players active with a target rich area. Smart thing.

I doubt there is ANY intel channel in 0.0 that is not full of spies. Like every alliance has spies in their own lines.

Considering the whole sandbox thing. Couldn't a corp or alliance run their own arena games? Why would CCP need to be involved. Just organize it and go.
