CCP what have you done to the war system?

Our corp war tab shows us still in the goon war as an ally, but further inspection shows the original corp to have no allys in the war.

To top it all off, goons arent flagged as war targets to us in space

So are we at war or arent we?

Don't hold your breath. Those space pilots who are still pursuing a better Inventory UI have been told that CCP personnel are on vacation and therefore **** isn't going to get addressed for a bit.

The ally contract has expired so you are not at war. The war entry might still show up for you but the ally entry should not or if it does it should show that the contract has expired.

Suddenly today, at approximately 2101, a war we thought was over, restarted in full, in the middle of an incursion fleet. Logistic ships attempting to rep me received the "Target at War" notification. You can imagine this didn't go well.

SOME players got this warning, others did not. Those that repped me anyway, got aggro countdowns.

I relogged, assuming it to be a random weird bug as only SOME players were getting it. When I relogged, the exact same players got the warning as did before logging off. On top of this, the war had appeared in the "Our Wars" tab under Corp. It was NOT there before I logged off. Furthermore, I could offer assistance in a war I was supposedly already involved in.

This is a problem that very suddenly appeared, long AFTER downtime, and was repeatable with multiple witnesses ( an incursion HQ fleet).

Some people tell me our war history also still shows our ally vs TEST still in effect, whilst others say no current wars visible to them at all.

This is a huge inconvenience for many reasons as I'm sure you can imagine.

Submit a bug report with the details (along with names of those who witnessed it, might help).

There might be something wrong that took a specific set of circumstances to trigger.

EDIT: Also yeah, peition submitted with as much evidence as I could muster, as it came as a complete shock: Not 15 minutes earlier, those same logi had no problem repping me, then suddenly I'm at war again, but only for some people :S I added annotations to the petition as I discovered more things, like the fact that the war reappeared in our wars tab and the problem persisted after logging off and on again.

Not any more. Now its a 2 week contract. Gives you time to get more corps in your alliance before the next 2 week contract starts.

They all disappeared again with todays DT, no more suddenly allies or war targets.
