...And once again the Clusterf*ck Coalition (CFC) steamrolls over another region and destroys the defenders.... Getting a little bored with it maybe? I've been a CFC member since July 2010, was involved in the destruction of IT alliance and have really enjoyed my life out in the north of null-sec but it has become a carebear nation so every now and then we go to war.

Everywhere our foes fall before us but none of them ask why?..........

Is it the blue blob?...
Blah blah blah we heard it all before. Get jabber sorted out and some FCs willing to undock & fight and you too can have your very own blue blobs (red to us) that can fight our blue (red to you) blobs.

Are we all powerfull?...
The CFC can muster thousands of pilots for every campaign and thats just Goonswarm & TEST alone....
No its not that. Lets be honest 10000 rifters will kill a lot of ships but they are still only rifters.

Is it the fact that that the fleet doctrine within the CFC is VERY tight with only really 4-5 fleet types and all with the same tank type (you can fly what you want but if you want some money back for losing your hull stick to doctrine)?...
Not really but it helps speed up fleet formation when they say "Drake fleet" or "Welp fleet" etc.

Is it the fact there is a very charismatic leader that recieves adulation from his alliance & CFC members just for being himself?....
Maybe?

To be honest the two things that really makes the CFC the powerhouse it is are Direction and Will.

Direction comes from our leaders. They give us a target and after a very rousing speech that makes us laugh and gets our blood going we are let loose on whatever poor soul that is the target of our wrath. We dont "play" war, we prosecute war how it is meant to be done in real life. Denial of resources, territory, support and supplies. We demoralize our foe to the point they don't even log in anymore. E-Honour means nothing when your sitting in your pod having lost everything so we ignore it. This direction is given to us from our leaders and without it we will fall.

A SoCo FC was recorded saying that if he didn't like the fleet he was facing he would dock up till a fleet came along he wanted to fight. We are on their doorstep, knocking on their door and pooping on their lawn and he says thatI Where is his will to fight. During the battle of VFK everyone got into whatever ship they had (yet another "I was there" moment) and we would have kept getting into ships even if they lost 100 of them before because of the will to defend our home (in my old corp we had 100% fleet participation the entire weekend with a couple of pilots clocking up 60+ hours). SoCo seem to not have the will to defend their space or fight and thats a real shame. I'm damn sure there are some fine pilots willing to fight and FCs in SoCo that could lead successful fleets but where are they? Have we broken their will to fight? We love IRC because they fight no matter what and they keep coming no matter what (big respect to IRC and a guy I know called Oresome). A lot of us in the CFC have a great deal of respect for them because of their will (and willingness) to fight and defend their home. Are we meant to respect the SoCo alliances and if so then why? Would you respect a foe that doesn't fight?

Now as I said at the start of this that I am a member of the CFC and proud but I'm asking, no begging the SoCo leadership to put aside their squabbling, get a unified structure up and running (jabber, proper solid tight fleet doctrine with reimbursement program etc), start talking to each other and start beating down on us CFC before null sec ends up CFC space and everyone that isnt CFC lives in NPC null because if that ever happens we will all lose at EVE.

And then we get to Test Alliance Please Ignore (TEST).... An alliance that starts fights then calls for help when they can't finish them. As far as I see it Delve is another example of TEST being the spoilt little rich kid that has bitten off more then he can chew and has called on big bro Goon and the CFC to save him. Don't get me wrong I love TEST. After all where would all those terrible links in local chat and what would we do without DurrHurrDurr (hmmmmm). The CFC helped capture Fountain for them and now Delve..... anywhere else? All TEST need to do is pick a fight, bleed a little, cry for help and the CFC will come running to save their backsides.

Now we understand that TEST hasn't got an overabundance of brain cells and we forgive their silly mistakes and the crap they put in local but did they really think they could **** off almost everyone south of them and not reap the whirlwind? Delve was started for good fights and went downhill from there. PL joined in the fun and reinstated the Honeybadgers (really just a name for the TEST meatshield/bait so PL can play the cavalry charging to the rescue) so the Delve residents called and allies moved in. Much calling and mailing was done and we have the current shitstorm. Maybe the CFC should let TEST stand on their own two feet. Maybe letting TEST go through a war on their own merits would be good. Maybe they need to bleed a little to really understand war, and for that matter maybe the CFC need to bleed a little too as its never happened before.

And this leads me to my point at last..... How many are going to be set blue.... as far as I see it around half of null-sec is now blue and as the SoCo can't seem to stop them I can see null-sec being blue from Branch right the way round to Catch. Currently we need to travel 30 odd jumps to find some large PVP action or go to war with another alliance/coalition (or shoot blues) and with that this is what's on my mind. Why not put a cap on the amount of allies that can be set blue by a single alliance. This would give an alliance a greater chance for PVP by restricting the amount of allies any one alliance can have. I know they will instigate a "Not Red Don't Shoot" (NRDS) policy but the chances for incidential PVP are huge, non alligned neutrals would take advantage and alliances will be inclined to keep non-blues out of their systems for fear of a challenge to their power, sovereignty, resources or if the interlopers are just neuts trying their luck. Alliances would go to war for the fun of it without risking their holdings as the neutral allaince next door has just as much to lose... think about it. Good fights without taking over half the galaxy. A much better idea then turning null sec into CFC space....

And on one final point.... why isn't Solar fleet and/or IRC kicking off in Branch and grinding our sov?

Thoughts please......

TL:DR

Soco couldn't organise a p iss up in a brewery.
Test can organise a p iss up in the brewery but need to call the bouncers when too many people crash the party.
GSF/CFC are very organized at top level.

CFC et al have too many blues.

Nice post albeit slightly runs against the grain for the rest.

Are you actually in the CFC or just roleplaying as a member?
