Well, im working me way through the new Diablo.

I never RMT, dont care about the DRM, blah de blah.

NOW - for those that can muster the indecency enough to run some levels and work to the goal of an inferno run or 10 for mega lewtz you can salvage to spite everyone without them knowing......

Dont you think the Sin Hearts levels look absolutely gorgeous ?

Personally i think an art team really excelled themselves and its probably one of the best things ive ever seen in a game - and its huge - and its progressive. From a distant view of tortured souls right down to the depths and seeing there hands pinned to the playground.

If that doesnt win an award there is something wrong with this world.

Every level looks rehashed. Diablo 3 plays like a corridor shooter.

The final acts seemed rush, went from city to city long quest after long quest to suddenly being in battle kill off two guys and then the final and then after a half hour of walking we're at the final boss. The places are ebautiful, but there are 7 deadly sins the fact they only gave us 2 rather sucked. Graphics were nice the creepy flayed guys in act 3 were cool.

But between rushed ending, lack of pvp, some bullshit balancing, and server lag. Hell I can barely get rid of my spare collector's edition for what I bought it for. Not to mention all the videos of gorey deaths that never made it, nobody remember the siege beast ripping off a barbarians head in one of the gameplay vids?

Who's the more foolish the fool or the fool who replies to him?

Yeah I played for a few days. Then I got a refund, was nice of them to give me my money back.

Game is total junk.

It's really amazing actually how bad they messed this game up.

Diablo 2 had almost infinite replay value. Diablo 3 has almost ZERO replay value.

The real icing on the cake though is how they try to integrate World of Warcraft game design into
D3, It's truly pathetic.

First act was superb, 2nd act was ok...after that it all went south.
Act 3 and 4 felt rushed and ripped from D2 expansion (LOD), just so that they could push out the game faster.

I lost interest after my 5th re-run.

Even so, the game was ok

Im with you, its Diablo, in a Diablo-ey kinda way. I guess thats why they called it Diablo.

Act 1 was a nice initiation, Act 2 caught me unprepared but i sorted that quick and got my head round the skills and literally thrashed my way to the end without any damage, or none that lasted. Act 3 was amazingly easy, but those flayed/tortured souls... what a view. Asmodan may as well have stayed in bed though... "wooo big bad guy earlier than i thought..... wooo big black expanding pools of life draining stuff. dodge... ASMODANS DEAD...... wooo yellow stuff"

Id have zapped Diablo today but went fishing instead.

Played for about 50hours.. stopped... bored.

I love Diablo and diablo 2, I am a hater of D3 and won't pollute this forum with my anti D3 rage :P

FU Blizzard... HOTS can bite me after this even though I actually like SC2.

Somewhat in the same boat as you, as a consumer I am not really keen to the idea of giving my money to a developer that is more infatuated with the image of itself (hello hubris!) than being that developer that keeps on being amazing.

And of course, the real insult to injury is that you are paying full price for HOTS despite being a expansion.

After playing Titan Quest off and on for years, I was utterly disappointed at D3's skill system.

Titan Quest, a decade-old game made by a much smaller developer, had this really amazing skill system where you selected skills from any two of nine masteries. The best part was that it was BUILT for multiplay, with area of effect buffs that benefited your friends as well as yourself. The only downside was its fixed maps limiting replayability...and still we managed to have fun.

Diablo 3, one of the most anticipated games from one of the biggest developers in the industry, is a single-player game with no PVP, no team-based skills, and no real skill selection. It's utter crap compared to what it could have been.
