Seriously though, it's not so much of a focus on the killmails, though there is still that. It's more about completely denying the field to the opponent to prevent a potential resurgence.

On the other hand, griefing the victor by being the only pod to escape can produce wonderful emotions, even in the midst of the burning wreckage surrounding you.

"Soon" or "We gonna look into when we have solved all of 0.0 demands" aka never or "We think the current mechanic around SDing is tottaly fine as it is" or " We know is fubar and will it have solved within...." and are you keep on pokeing CCP on that matter till they do something ?

If you want to be all technical about it, human is a species and race is any arbitrary group that we can separate from the rest of mankind by visual, physical, cultural, or historical properties. It works exactly the same as dividing the species of dogs into different groups called races or breeds based on their ear shape and fur colour or any other arbitrarily chosen set of properties. Arbitrary since the term has no official scientific definition or rank in taxonomy.

The term doesn't really work for humans since the variation in our observable properties is ridiculously small compared to animals, for which the terms race or breed are usually used, but it's still not a synonym of species.

SD is fine.
SD should not produce any sort of killmail at all. As it is.
If you can't kill a ship in the time it takes for someone to decide to SD, then you suck.
Only killboard e-peen peeps care anyway.

Yeah it kinda sucks that you don't get any shiniez lootziez, but ya know what? The guy is dead anyway. Sucks to be him.

I like to have killmails as a story of what I have done in eve. You blew your ship up because of me, I'm cool with not getting your loot but seriously, why do we have to pretend like it never happened?

Few reasons:

- personal KM history ( maybe he wants to join PL at some day )
- Haha, I showed you ( not realising that his ship is gone anyway )
- maybe he thinks: they not comming back when I`m known to SD all my **** as soon someone who want to pew enters local
- as Corp: If you if your KB is red from cap losses you not gonna attract alot of non-faggots you can milk tax from

I`m sure there are more reasons for someone to SD their ship but the main reason for sure: It never happened, proof or stfu....
