Hey all!


Spence here from TEN EVEning News. In continuing with our podcast's monthly Roundtable schedule, we are moving ahead and lining up guests for our August Roundtable, to be devoted to mining!

If you are a devoted, hardcore miner, and would like to share your ideas and tin foil hattery on the future of converting space rocks into isk, please get in touch. Here's the topics and format:

When: Saturday, August 11th 4pm Central US Time (setting it early to accommodate our European friends...pretty sure that's 10:00pm GMT)

Where: Skype

Who: 8-10 dedicated miners, including at least 1 CSM representative to be named later

Why: To discuss one of the largest, most important facets of Eve; the accumulation of minerals for use in industry


Topics (Tentative List--Subject to Change):

1. Current state of mining vessels & skills
2. Mining safety & productivity
3. Discussion on upcoming mining changes
4. High sec mining vs low/null/Wormhole mining; is it balanced and fair?
5. Tips and hints for new miners
6. Tech moons, OTEC, and the state of high-end material and its impact on New Eden
7. Theorycrafting on general/specific ways to make mining more fun, more lucrative, and 'better'
8. Current state of Planetary Interaction and ways to 'fix' it

This is not a 'free for all' sperge fest...we do moderate, set time limits on topics, and have rebuttal/counter-argument periods. We do this to keep the flow interesting (hopefully), and prevent emotions from running 'too' high :)
