This thread has actually got me thinking about Scarlet specifically, if your agent gives it a lot, would there be a ship that's particularly good at burning to all the gates in no time, then sniping Scarlet at 70-80km in a couple shots? Maybe a tier 3 BC?

I tend to like missions that can both be blitzed in a couple minutes, or farmed for lots of bounties and loot. Scarlet, The Assault, Gone Berserk, Attack of the Drones, and Recon all come to mind.

an arty mael supposedly can oneshot her, so get one with an MWD and you should be golden. just don't forget to loot the implant

I should buy an Ishtar.

I use a MWD Mach with six T1 arty cannons. When blitzing, you can kill her twice (one shot alpha) for 10M in bounties, plus the implant.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Wouldn't a Mach also be able to do this?

Think scarlet would be worth doing in a Navy Raven? i really need to take the time and upgrade to a better ship but i always skip this mission due to the different amount of ships possible. I guess ill give it a try next time im on and go for a bounty run.

Scarlet is easy as **** in a CNR, but it will take considerably longer than a well-skilled, high-end turret BS (like a Mach).

Something to keep in mind is that at the highest end hulls, turrets will pretty much always be faster than a missile boat, especially cruise boats. For something like a CNR, you are trading speed for the ability to hit at extreme ranges (out to 200km with the right skills), meaning you never/rarely get hit at all. For missions where I can pick warp in range, I could almost go in untanked because nothing ever hits me. I wouldn't suggest that ever, but it is feasible.

In my CNR, Scarlet gives me relatively mediocre isk/hour. WAY less than missions like Gone Berserk (which I can full clear, loot and salvage in about 20 minutes, including warping off to switch to my Noctopus).
