thanks much. is appreciated. i compose all this stuff on pc version of cubase. then i have a crap ton of vst instruments
downloading bill nelson collection now. are all his albums ambient?

He's really versatile. A lot of the later stuff is ambient, but a lot of it is also 3-4 minute songs with vocals. A good album with vocals is The Love That Whirls. He does everything solo in his home studio. Not noticeable from his ambient stuff, but he actually started as a electric guitar virtuoso with the band Be Bop Deluxe.

Sorry for so much Bill Nelson. The guy's been a major force in music for years. But once he dumped his record company and started self-producing, nobody heard of him but his dedicated fans.
