Over the past month I started playing eve online and I immediately went into station trading in jita and have been pretty successful. However as my school holidays are ending I don't want to be babysitting orders all the time. What's a good station trading hub where I don't have to 0.1 isk war so much but can still make good money?

I don't know the types of trading you deal in specifically, but if you trust in your ability to make general predictions about the direction of certain item' prices over time you could still trade out of Jita or another major hub with minimal amounts of logging in. If, for instance, you thought item X was due to go up in price you'd make a purchase and relist at around where you think it's headed and then just let the order sit until the market reaches it.

I still dont understand why people ask for good advice here. no one who knows what they are doing will tell anyone, because helping others decreases margins.

so any information you get is going to be low value.

In general people in the Market/Science part of the forums will not tell you how to make isk specifically. We will guide you how to do it but you have to do your own research. Reason is quite simple. We did research which took time and effort and fought our way into said market, posting it on the forum that X is profitable is a bad idea. It will tell everyone what we are doing which will bring in competition and probably lots of it (your not he only one reading this) which will cut into our profits drastically.

In general if you get a reply along the lines of this, it means it's unprofitable and not worth it.
1) Game mechanic sucks don't do it, it's broke.
2) Your better off doing something else

If it is profitable you get something like this
1) Do your own research

As for where you should setup shop, don't know but it ain't Jita. Start checking out various trading hubs till you find one you like.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

What if you get the info from a retired trader that have no interest in margins anymore?... Let's say me.

Now, on the OP topic: answer to your question is:
. Amarr
.Dodixie
.Rens
.Hek

In this order.

because all you have to do is open your eyes and read what's going on in SCC and here.
you don't have to end up asking "what do i do to make money".

If you sound ignorant(as if you didn't bother googling) MD has little patience.

I'd expect more information from a retired trader who has no interest in margins anymore... everyone who plays the game knows the top 5 market hubs.
