Ships: right click -> Wrap for transport

Ok so most players know that a fitted ship can be carried by any ship with enough cargo space provided that the ship is wrapped up in a courier contract wrapper. This leads many to contract the ship to an alt, log on the alt and set up a courier contract for the freighter pilot, log on the freighter pilot, deliver the payload and then contract the ship back to the ton who needs it.

I propose cutting out the extra steps and allowing us to instead right click a ship that is not active and choosing to wrap it for transport. then if the same character is also the freighter pilot he can move it w/o all the hassles.

I like the idea of a "wrap for transport".. except not for moving ships. I'd like to see a "warp for transport" used to package items into a group for simplified transport and organization, without the need for restrictive containers.

As far as transporting assembled ships; I personally think an unarmed ship needs to be added specifically to perform that task; that ship should have little to no cargo, and a ship maintenance bay large enough to hold 3 battleships.

It wont let me have an empty signature...

I suggest that said product be a racial ship that requires Racial Freighter I or create a skill specifically for it. I suggest it be called the "Support Tug" and here is an example of names that could be given to them based on the present naming scheme of Freighters:

Gallente: Monolith-class Support Tug
Minmatar: Bedouin-class Support Tug
Caldari: Gaia-class Support Tug
Amarr: Pillar-class Support Tug

But as it will be capable of hauling fit/rigged ships, I think it should be capable of at least having a couple of mid/low slots to tank, or fit ECM.

I like this idea, though it would have to be restricted to certain ship classes, that way you can't use it to bring a capital into high security pace. I support the product and/or idea

there are no capital ships that would fit in any other ship while assembled, or even packaged, so that's not much of a concern. other than that, yes, I would like an option like this. or the racial ship freighters. either one would be awesome.

Make sure to give it an ISK cost as well. Even as little as perhaps 25k isk so that it remains a sink as the contracts are.
