The problem with solo pvp is that the raven pilot forgot to use a falcon alt.
Really, how are you even supposed to solo pvp without them?

By flying everywhere else than high sec. Doesn't mean low/null people don't use alts but those are probably sitting at the POS

All OP has to do it spot those alts, buy a couple ships and wait, once they engage someone gank them or simply jam them with a cheapo throwaway T1 cruiser (gank hem is better because usually those dudes are risk averse so they will move on to some other place)

Uhm..yeah.
Thanks for that elaborate answer, Ms. Borovskova.

I am terribly sorry that I always tend to forget how difficult it is to deliver sarcasm over the internet.

Just for the records, wehenver I am saying something incredibly stupid, I am either
a. being sarcastic
b. failing at being sarcastic
c. just dumb
e. failing at trolling
d. drunk
f. just crying for attention because my parents didn't let me keep that puppy when I was little
g. any combination of a-f

Me too sarcasm fan (and I did got it but was more about answering OP) Lol

Edit: the combination from a. to g. gives us a pro troll Blink

I agree that frigates are not "noob ships" as the OP says. It just so happens that newbies start in frigates. I fly them all the time, frigates are very effective in pvp, especially against bigger, slower targets in swarms.

Frigates are the least vulnerable ship class, as they are the only one that has the option to run away from a losing fight with a reasonable chance of success. The price for that mobility is extreme vulnerability to pilot error - fly straight at someone with your MWD blazing and you're space dust in an instant.

Honestly, battleships are terrible solo ships due to their extreme sluggishness. They work best in gangs and fleets, where their weaknesses can be compensated for by support, and their strengths get to shine.

even the most agile cruisers and up are not even close to the mobility of a fast, dual propping frigate. get a full tackle on a cynabal, and it is forced to deal with the tackling frigate. the hard part is actually landing the tackle. as for a tackled frigate - many can still slip away quite easily.

Frigates are low level? Ive been playing this game 6 years and still use frigs every day. Its not the game thats broken, its you.

i've been playing this game for just under 3 years and i fly frigates every time i log on. why? because they're fun! OP, you just don't know what you're talking about. go back to wow where you can log onto your 85 main and kill level 15 players to bump up your self esteem.
