That Itty V was able to solo the failfit Mega with much less DPS than a Kestrel puts out, so I suspect an extreme lack of competence on the Raven's side.

Sorry, the problem is not the Kestrel but the awful Raven pilot.

Lately this week saw some full officer fitted Vindicator kill mail killed by a cruiser, again this idiot could perfectly full officer fit his Vindicator with railguns (not the best choice) not fit a single officer web and couldn't afford to put rigs on that Vindicator, even T1 rigs.

Your Raven has a drone bay, why couldn't you just fit ECM drones gtfo and get back with something pvp fitted to spank his ass?
Probably because you thought that bigger is better, this is so wrong.

The problem with solo pvp is that the raven pilot forgot to use a falcon alt.
Really, how are you even supposed to solo pvp without them?

By flying everywhere else than high sec. Doesn't mean low/null people don't use alts but those are probably sitting at the POS

All OP has to do it spot those alts, buy a couple ships and wait, once they engage someone gank them or simply jam them with a cheapo throwaway T1 cruiser (gank hem is better because usually those dudes are risk averse so they will move on to some other place)

Titans are different as they are pretty rare, remember.

A coalition might have as many as 50 to 100 titans to call up.

I agree that frigates are not "noob ships" as the OP says. It just so happens that newbies start in frigates. I fly them all the time, frigates are very effective in pvp, especially against bigger, slower targets in swarms.
