I have recently learned, and so added Large Audit Log Containers to my Corp's BP tab in Corp Hangar. However, I have a large concern.... I set the Config password, and regular access password, yet it seems that anyone can "Retrieve Password". What are the roles/positions/etc that can do this? I don't want some newb in corporation retrieving my BPO password, and ganking my Corp's assets...

If I recall correctly, this option can only be used on a container in your personal hangar - as opposed to the corporation hangar. Therefore if you keep the container in your corp hangar, a person who doesn't have the Container Take role will not be able to retrieve it.

Well the whole point of my deploying them is to monitor who is taking/using BP's from our Corps BP tab, which ha limited access anyways. I've already lost about 15bil worth of BPO's, and have no idea who took them. And as far as the Container Take role, I can't find it anywhere in the Corp roles.

Lock down your BPOs on the hangar floor with a vote. Then nobody can steal them without another vote to unlock.

Have you tried having an alt in the corp stripped of roles and trying it yourself? Isn't that a bit easier than asking on the forums and just hoping someone is correct?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Yeah lock the BPO's down and let your corp use them and allow one of EVE's most Overpowered features let you rest easy. Sure you can use my BPO's and make stuff but don't steal them. I want to do the same with ships. CCP why can't corps lend out ships and lock them down to prevent them from getting stolen or blown up just like they can with BPO's?

Titan and Jump freighter lock down feature is needed to balance BPO locks.

Brewlar, not everything is about your irrational hatred of Pie.

You have your T2BPO whine thread. Go bump that instead of trying to take over other people's threads.

If you give container access, people can take the container out of the hangar, remove what they want, and put the container back.

Of course roles don't really apply to the CEO or directors.

I don't recommend using containers for BPOs.

Container Access

This access right will allow a pilot to remove audit log containers or any other container types from a corporation hangar he has access to. Without this role that pilot will receive an error message when he attempts to do so. Note that the pilot in question will still be able to open the container and access items in it if they have the hangar take access right to that hangar. - Unless of course, the take rights are restricted any further by audit log container configuration settings.
