Hello, I was wondering, does a factions' area have missions best suited for that factions' ships? For example, are missions for the Federation Navy in Gallente space easier than missions in amaar space if I'm in a Gallente ship? I'm asking because I'v been doing missions from both and it seems that way.

Rats in each empire are weak against their racial weapons. Amar rats - em, caldari rats - kinetic, etc.

its not about what ship you fly but what dmg you deal. racial ships and dmg types are connected but not fixed values!

... these forums tick me off sometimes.

Anyway, agree with "damage type > ship type," and if you check around a lot of times you can find mission groupings that your ship handles better than the "local" missions (such as Caldari missile-boat pilots heading to Minnie space because they can flat-out murder Angels between dealing pure explosive damage and having Caldari ships' two best resists in play).

Generally "local" ships average out the best though- those nomadic Caldari can do the Angel missions easy, but anything that would put them up against Amarr rats hits their *worst* resists while someone in Minnie ships wouldn't have to make as many changes (swap resists out, rather than swap existing resists and possibly other mods as well because of the EM hole).
