Why join GOONS if you know they are gonna scam you?

so why do you join them? why are you stupid to join them? What becuase they have sov space? just asking...

Most players don't actually "know that goons are scum of eve and the biggest scammers around.." SURE, everyone who reads the C&P forums know, but what about the people who never touch the forums? They would have no way to know whatsoever, as would the people who only read a few topics which aren't related to scams.

Because, in 99.9...9% of cases, human = lemming, an animal not known for its' ability to think critically and objectively, and there is nothing more the two-legged variant of same wants more than to be seen with/as one of the "cool kids."

That what's seen as the "cool kids" in EVE has deteriorated to common denominator as low as the Goons is also saying something, but I digress...

(I don't get it, myself: Assuming you actually do join Goons--and the way to do so properly/legitimately is right there on their site--why the Hell would you want to, if you have even the barest shred of self-respect/pride? That group-think/herd-mentality thingy again, I guess...)

Whats funny is that being in Goons is actually better then most corps or alliances else where. Other then dealing with the occasional fucktards most are actually pretty chill towards each other. However if your not in Goons then yes you will be treated like **** and scammed. Its how things work.

But not wrong, hell they seem to have even scammed CCP into letting them get into a position to conquer (help conquer) all of 0.0 while at the same time destabilizing the economy of the game all legally done so CCP really cant do anything to stop them. Im fairly curious if Mittens is gonna stop at some point and try to ransom the game to CCP lol

I think one of their latest scams was a multi lingual scam, be hard not trusting them if they come in and speak your own language.
Plus it is a english all over, not really sure how much that keeps info about the goons away from people.

Goonwaffe has over 2500 members in it. It's gotta grow somehow. It's quite simple, you pay the 500 million isk deposit fee and you get admitted. This idea that we somehow scam people is such a joke....
