Well we came all dressed up for a party. Your fleet landed on the outside, we knew what you had inside, we knew it was probably going to be a slaughter but what the hell? Sometimes it's just effing cool to jump and see what happens take the losses, analyze at the after party and have some good fun.

Props to TL. You guys creamed us. Props to our guys as well though, not one of you ran and you showed balls to hang in there instead of jumping a an easy hisec.

Great fight.

If I remember correctly the Hi Sec was Crit or close to it - so anyone jumping out would have left their fleet members to die. Props to everyone who fought.

Before the LOST fleet jumped in when we both arrived at the HS WH, I remember someone saying "Fek they have 8 Logi - have we the Deeps or ECM to break that"? so it wasn't like we were expecting a win.

Great Fight guys!

This week the fights just kept coming!

Last Tuesday:

Verge Of Collapse (CRIT) VS The Elysian Empire (ELYSI)

After scanning the chain in the evening we came across the mighty VoC’s WH. We expected them to be out hunting in nullsec as usual by the looks on the KB. The chain looked something like this: Home->C5s->C5a->C5c->VoC

We quickly assembled on our static with some t3’s and guardians, a bhaalgorn, couple of bc’s/ bs’s and a backup carrier and went out for the hunt. Stopping on C5a side to C5c, the order was given to send out some bait and surely after some time they all returned from their NS ops and we saw more people log in. VoC being clever pvp’ers as they are, they sent out some scouts to check for possible hostile backup. They found us fiddling our thumbs waiting for the action in the C5a. The strange thing was they sent back their scouts, you would think they would leave something behind to keep an eye on us right?

And so we returned our bait from their static and let them sit on the C5c side to C5a so that they didn’t have full advantage straight on their home static.

This is what happened:

Great fight VOC \o/

Last Thursday

Elysian Empire VS Insidious Design

Whilst running sites in our home system reports come in from having an hostile scanner and Hound on scan. Our PVE fleet immediately gets ready to clear from site. Once almost all have warped off, the hostile Hound kept stealing wrecks.
With our bloodthirsty mind in set we went looking for their home k162 wormhole. After a few cycles of scanning our scout reports their home system and a cov ops has been sent in to keep an eye on them. We assemble fast with various T3's, 3 Guards, a Bhaalgorn, some ecm, an archon and a thanny on standy. Once everyone is assembled our scout reports a few caps and various other ships being manned including a bhaalgorn! The Green light has been given and we all warp to the k162 and bubble op on the other side.

More pilots from the opposite side started to log on and prepare and after some chatter in local they start aligning and all warp to their static. They warped in about the same amount but they had the upper-hand on capitals. This system being a cataclysmic: giving local rep a negative and the remote a bonus effect which ended up making their spider tanking carriers insane.

Having killed their Rev we lose our Archon and gets replaced by a Thanny which closed the hole and we were here to stay!!

We knew that in order to keep an even fight we could not let them re-ship so a fast tackler was assigned to kill their pods.

They kept bringing in more ships with other characters including a Moros because they knew the wh had closed on us.
Swapping out kills it was pretty even after 15 minutes, but then our Thanny dropped. It just couldn’t tank all the dps from the Moros in this system. This ment tanking everything with 2 of our guardians against their incoming dps, ecm from the scorp and neuts from the Bhaalgorn. It was pretty much over at this point, so going for the last easy kills (Tengu) we leave the wrecked battlefield. After some gf’s exchange in local we luckily had a t3 with probes and managed to find us a decent exit point.

Killmails speak for themselves

All in all great fights this week! Can't wait till we meet again \o/

Right so, some time ago our guys were scouting around and come across this german hole. After some pewpews the germans begin talking ****, and generally insulting the fact that our mothers are hamsters, whatever. But these germans also happend to be in the words of our scout... "they are pretty fail". So we decide to hang around a bit, for the lulz. Shooting pocos's to generate mails, stalking their haulers, and generally being a nuisance since they won't come out and play. So eventually they do come out and play.... well.. not really. They batphoned about 80 of their german buddies to come help them shoot 3-4 of our guys that were playing pic-a-boo games on a highsec. Shocked

Seeing that they can draw a crowd and still remain failzors we decide to poke the nest a bit and make all sorts of things come out of their hidey holes so we can has real pew this time. So we casually drop a tower in their system, expecting to wake up to it reinforced and holes critted yada yada, we jump in pewpew give gf's and if we win we take ze tower down and go home. Simple right? Well, it is if you are not these particular germans... who as we stated before are fail.

Instead of waking up to a reo'd tower and pew, we wake up to them moving out, yes, we dropped a tower, and they responded by quite literally GTFO'ing . Many pandas cried that morning as quite literally everything but bare shields and a modicum of guns was moved out without so much as a bomb being launched in our general direction.

"Well". we figured "Maybe once they are done moving all their shiney things out then they will come shoot ze tower and we shall has pew." As an added incentive we decided to put up an X-Large array and run lots and lots of haulers in and out to make it look like we were going to build a cap ship in their home to shoot them with it. "Surely," we thought "They can't be that fail that they will just let us waltz in here and do this sort of nonsense."
Sadly, they did let us. In fact they went one step further and started stripping the insides of their pos's and not even logging out in their home, but in highsec.

-.-

"Screw it!" says we, "lets build the dam ship and burn these cowards out. Either they come shootz us and stop the building process.... or we will build it, in their home, and then shoot them with it. Better yet, lets make it a phoenix, just to add a little bit of insult by using the crappiest one." Assuming of course that they didn't move out entirely beforehand, which, as the cap neared its completion date, looked to be a real possibility as towers began going missing from d-scan.

Since our euro crew is rather small and having seen that they can call 80 brosefs to come pew we figured we would even the odds a bit and asked LOST and TLC in advance if some of their euros wanted in on the lulz should these little carebears actually grow a pair and come play, albeit with their batphone in hand. Seeing the hilarity involved as well as having to do nothing but show up for pew they said they were down, and we all went about our business as normal until this morning.

Dada!!!! Ze pansies came to play!! Only about 20-30 of them though, but we figured if you can 80 man once you can 80 man again. And our resistar was dealing with their dps rather nicely. So we called our buddies up and shared the good news that pew had arrived. Having seen an 80 man earlier, we naturally had, about 80 people in fleet. +- a few for scouts ect that would not be pewing. Actual battle reports show 50 combat ships, so we were expecting to do a 50 vs 20-80... somewhere in that range. Not going to turn away people that want to come pew though so se-la-vi.

We closed the mass reduced highsec and got a new one, courtesy of our fail german hosts who fail quite hard at hole closing and popped in to say "O hai der, you miss me!?".

Thus begot this peice of.... something..... "Turkey shoot" I believe would be an appropriate term.

as well as this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNUH8G5nWxQ&feature=player_embedded

Sadly, this time it actually was only 20 :( but no matter. They could not reinforce the tower so we are going to stick around for a few more days for the lulz and to see if they get over themselves and come back for moar pew.... What will likely wind up happening though is that they keep moving out and cement their legacy as 'failbears' and we won't get to pew again with them. :(

Hoping I am wrong about them not coming back though.

Who did they batphone? And who was in that first 80-man fleet they allegedly had?

If I hadn't been busy with RL I would have been there too with one of my chars, flying for the losing side *g* I wonder if I had made a difference, I'm actually quite good at wormhole closing and led several successful defensive operations against a much larger force. Anyway, since I wasn't there I shouldn't say too much, but the guys who asked for help (and supposedly led the effort) provided very little intel beforehand and most of that intel was wrong. We also didn't know about any nullsec batphoning and when I heard that Talocan was involved I warned our guys that they shouldn't even try to engage in open battle because you guys would vastly outnumber us with 100% certainty.

There were members of Solar Fleet in the second engagement. As for the apparent errors in the tale, the operation is still ongoing. A few small discrepancies were added for OpSec's sake. (For example, it was originally their hole. Now it is our hole because we've invaded it.) The general nature of the tale is still true, though.
