Various people (CSM and others) were complaining about the high isk cost of medical clones on higher sp characters. It looks like CCP responded by giving us the ability to build clones ourselves.

There might be some interesting things to do in the lore here but who cares?

I hear to make clones the materials list a combo of Technetium, HI SEC Ice, & bacon. Bacon market along with all other non kosher PI items are being rapidly cornerd by goons after a DEV named "T20 the Second" dropped the BPOs into a drake drop.

its actually not a troll this was pulled from the latest sisi update thread... i am currently DL the client (at work so i cant install just yet)

I just hope that they DON'T remove the NPC service. If they do, its pretty much a goodbye to pod expressing.

same here but i think CCP has learnt a good hard lesson about removing functionality... so hopefully you will have the base price in npc med bays...

but can have a dynamic price for ones bought and sold on market...

i would actually do PI if it meant i could turn biomass stuff into a new clone for me...

CCP learning WHAT?

See, it goes like this:

1- noisy minority whines to have their cloning cost reduced
2- upon months of whining, CCP developer designs a player-driven clone fix and presents it to CCP Unifex
3- CCP Unifex agrees, but thinks that it would be a waste to not use that new resource for everyone
4- CCP removes NPC clones so everybody uses the ""gorgeous"" market clones until noobs wonder why all Beta clones are worth 50 million ISk in their region
5- 3 years later CCP agrees that maybe they're losing revenue by allowing griefers to harrass noobs through clone market manipulation and "clonegeddon" ensues

Think the worst, make it utterly stupid, and then you will get what CCP may come to do about it. Roll

Anything reducing the ridiculous cost of higher SP med clones is long overdue, but looking at how CCP 'fixed' FW, sceptiscim is in order.
