A problem with mouse clicking and ship navigation

Normally a double click changes the path of my ship. That is the way that it has always been since I started playing eve many years ago. Now... for some reason, a click-mouseslide-release changes the course of my ship too. So I can no longer pan the camera around my ship without also turning said ship.

Thinking that this was a problem with my Razor Naga, I reinstalled the driver this morning.

Still the same thing. So is this a new "feature" that I must now live with? Is there a setting I can change that will stop this client behavior? Do I need t o get rid of my Razor Naga? Any advice would be appreciated.

Confirming that click-drag-release does not turn internet spaceships.

No idea whats going on there, as always I blame CCP.

Confirming that it does from where I am sitting. Anyone know why?

Had the same problems when my Razer was doing double-clicks on it's own.

Try another mouse and see if it's working as it should.

I figured it was something like that, I have had nothing but prob with this thing since I bought it. Setting the polling rate to 1000Hz seems to have helped a little bit.

Is it a R.A.T 7 per chance?

Even so due to general wear and tear the mouse probably got borked and now double clicks instead of single clicks. I had the same problem and was petitioning it several times and CCP said they wer elooking into it. Then i came across some articles that my R.A.T 7 tends to start doing that due to general wear and tear of using the mouse.

Luckily they come with a 2 year warrenty and i just sent it off and it got replaced.

Been doing this to me, I OSRIed a few days ago to try and see if that would fix it, it hasn't happened in the past few hours. It was VERY annoying.

I always noticed it when alt-tabbing. No clue why. I will test out the click drag thing next.

I have seen so many Razer mice suffer from the same problem. After a year or 2, they start double-clicking when you only press once, and just FYI, their customer support is terrible (well, they were when it happened to me), which is why I no longer buy their products.

I had an old Razer mouse that started double clicking on it's own. Bought a different mouse and never had the problem since

I had a similar problem with my logitech mouse. Disassembled the micro switch inside the mouse and cleaned it, put it back together and it has been working well ever since.

I'm sure this has already been answered, but I'll say it anyway. Check your mouse, nothing is wrong with eve.

Had the same problem in mine. Open it up and lubricate the switch of the effected button and it will come good. Have not had a problem with mine since.

Shoot! What? I just replaced my copperhead with a new DeathAdder for this reason yesterday. (picks through waste basket for old copper head, looks at it and sees no screws. blows under left mouse button and plug it in...that fixed it...hides old mouse from wife)

I like the new mouse, I didn't want that old mouse anyway.Oops

I've no idea if the Naga is causing this, but I do know that you do need to get rid of all Razer products as they are overpriced pieces of garbage. Naga mice are terribly imprecise (with the possible exception of the Deathadder) and have lots of driver and firmware issues with many systems.
