Proposal regarding ATX-Training and SiSi

Hey there,

today I'd like to bother you with an unusual proposal regarding SiSi Rules and Mechanics.

Right now, several - if not all - ATX-Teams utilize the test server as a training ground to test their ship layouts and setups. Since those setups should be obviously classified, spies in those training systems get shot by alt-accounts on a regular basis, provoking mass-movements by ISD, or even mass-bans of those agressing players.

The current rules encourage players to actively spy on enemy teams, distract them during their training sessions and provoking non-consensual kills in order to invoke bans for the particular ATX participants to stop them from training until next mirror.
The layout of the AT on the other hand relies on the concealment of ship setups, and thus the need to kill any possible spies in the training system.

This causes massive, unnecessary work for
- the AT participants during their training sessions
- the ISD's trying to keep law and order

Proposal:

Use the Jove-space as a dedicated training grounds, accessible only for players of the participating alliances.
- Remove gates fo 64 Jove-systems
- Place a fully seeded station in each of those systems, belonging to the particular alliances

This gives the players the possibility to pod themselves into the training ground without the need of being moved by an ISD,
allows undisturbed training sessions and - EvE should still be nasty - still gives spies within a given alliance the possibility to gather information regarding the ship-setups currently used by the tournament-teams.

Furthermore, it lessens the work-amount of the ISD's, cheers up all AT-participants and - once implemented - can be reused on every AT yet to come.

tl,dr:
Remove gates of 64 Jove-Systems, give each participating alliance a private training ground with their own station --> less work for ISD's, more fun for tournament participants, spying still possible

Flame on ;)

This would be a lot of overhead for us and I doubt it would happen. We already make a lot of changes to the way Sisi is intended to work to benefit the alliance tournament players - if secrecy is desired there are plenty of wormholes to choose from.

Luckily sisi has this awesome API with these wormhole statistics for kills nobody has bothered to remove yet. Couple that with wormholers that know how to cycle holes in the tournament and you get me with 5 alts in holes being used for teting.

Not wanting to get friends & well respected previous AT winners in trouble, but AFAIK it's not just the newer guys of VoC who've been using the API to assist their 'rage-rolling' of statics to spy even in w-space. CCP isn't keeping up with their own game.

Then again, they never commented on PL using the locator agents mail API/data to learn enemy AT fleet ships prior to matches...
