Some Faction Warfare Warzone Control and System Upgrade Questions

Just some questions I've not seen covered in any detail anywhere:

1. How many systems are required (stable, I assume), minimum, to be able to boost warzone control to tier 5?

2. What percentage of systems have to be a upgrade level 5 to attain warzone control tier 5?

3. If a system is at upgrade level 5, what effect does offensive plexing have on the upgrade level? At what point does the system drop to upgrade level 4? 3? Etc.

4. How much does it cost to upgrade the iHub between the various upgrade levels? (I've heard it costs 100K LP to upgrade from level 4 to level 5, for instance)?

1. You'd need to have 80% of the points to be at tier 5. For Caldari this would mean minimum of roughly 81 systems upgraded to lvl 5.

2. For Caldari, 80 system to lvl 5 and one system to lvl 4.

3. Offensive plexing removes LPs from the iHUB upgrades.

4. Level 1: 10k, Level 2: 25k, Level 3: 45k, Level 4: 70k, Level 5: 100k, optional buffer total 150k. Those are total, so to go from 0 -> 5 would require 100k LPs.

Just to clarify, when offensive plexing an upgraded system I believe it is 50% of all earned LP from the plex when closed is removed from the ihub

Thanks, man.

Concerning 3 ... does the mechanics tell you how many LPs have been removed from the iHub when you finish a Plex? (I don't recall offensive plexing a system that wasn't already contested by some percentage.)

i have a question along the same lines. is it system upgrades or warzone control that controls the LP tiers conversion?

Warzone control, but you need to perform system upgrades to increase warzone control.

Princess nexxala was correct. 50% of the lp you earn from running an offensive plex comes from the systems upgrade pool the other 50% comes from thin air. If the system is not upgraded all your lp comes from thin air.

The warzone control gives 1 point for every system you control and every level of control you have in all your systems. So 1 system upgraded to level five gives 6 points. (cost 100k lp) 2 sytems upgraded to level 2 also gives 6 points.(cost 50k lp) So you can see you need less lp to get the same warzone points if you have more systems.

I don't know if your notification tells you what lp came the ihub and which just from the npc corp. But its half from the ihub if it is upgraded.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

The Minmatar/Amarr warzone has, I believe, 72 systems. That's 432 total points in the pool. 346 points are needed for tier 5 (80% of total points) meaning the base number of systems is 58 (though that might be 57 tier 5 systems and one tier 3/4, not sure on rounding). Thus, 77.3% of all warzone systems in the Minmatar/Amarr warzone have to be captured and upgraded to level 5 for one side to reach warzone control 5.

From the dev blog:

Level 1 requires 10,000 LPs
Level 2 requires 25,000 LPs
Level 3 requires 45,000 LPs
Level 4 requires 70,000 LPs
Level 5 requires 100,000 LPs

If I'm wrong, please correct me.
