That's what we've been telling everyone for ages, alas there where some people who thinking we where just trolling and not being serious about it - so we decided to take proper action in order to convince the community of the true scale of our ineptitude.

Op success.

Out of all things, there is simply no way you could lose two vindicators against a few broadswords, you would have to be diagnosed with a severe condition of down syndrome to fail that badly.

This almost looks and feels like a thrown match to me.

Until you have been in the Alliance Tournament, you have no idea of the pressure involved. Thinking you have one more cycle of overheat or forgetting to turn it off happens so fast in the tournament. Until you have been there you have no idea.

I cant believe everyone's mind went to thrown match right away.

If people are trying to throw matches, I promise they won't bring BS that cost 1b a piece.

Didn't Hydra/0utbreak bring Vindis last year?

It's a screenshot we forged on SISI to fuel the fire caused by our "thrown match". The fact that there's people like you out there who swallowed it hook-line and sinker is still spreading laughter across our teamspeak server, days later. Snake is still in corp, roles intact. ...Tough he has been and still is being mocked quite thoroughly for his blunder - something which imagine will continue for quite some time. All in good fun of course.

With hindsight though, I think this is close to the best outcome. We made it through, we managed to look like complete idiots while doing so it's not too far from the truth, but the important thing is that we did get through. w00t.

Joining the AT was a spur of the moment thing, so while our AT funds are limited, I'd say losing two Vindicators was worth it for all the hilarity the forums have spawned about our match. Our FEARLESS. forum commandos and post-versus-post warriors have had plenty of material to work with, laughs have been had and all in all, I'd say spirits are running fairly high despite some rather tough matches ahead of us.

As for the Vindicator losses, I've been told "Don't fly what you can't afford to lose" several times throughout my EVE career.

We are FEARLESSdot. We do it anyway.
