A tan colored haze hung across the horizon above Arra’an. Settled within the mouth of a crater in a remote spot on Eram II, the camp had only been in place now for less than a year and already it had become home to several thousand Minmatar, both old and young. The camera drone panned gently, capturing faint smoke wisps carried by the low breeze as they rose from below – many of the tents could be seen with twinkling fires while shuttles could be seen fleeting back and forth on their daily routines.

The drone hovered, focusing on a cloaked figure against the backdrop. Zooming in, a metallic shaft could visibly be seen wielded in the right fist, topped by a crude finish – the visible markings of the Khumaak. DeT Resprox threw back his hood and addressed the camera drone as it buzzed towards him.

“Eight years ago I stood here, thinking….how the Matar had lost itself in such unimaginable ways!”

Resprox extended his arm at full lock, pondering the weapon in his hand for a few moments with a tilt of his head.

“The leader of our own people tried to abolish the ‘Hand of Maak’. Midular was so misguided, so ill prepared for many things…least of all what was to come. Yet it took these very things to unite our people…and so the People’s Republic of Minmatar was founded”.

Resprox walked several steps, dust billowed from beneath his heels as his heavy boots carried him forwards.

“Wars raged across the borders from the corners of Molden Heath into the belly of Amarr itself. Lives were lost and warriors were born. The Paratwa Ka, The People’s Front of Matar, Oracle and other corporations including my own would fight alongside each other against the forces of PIE and their Amarrian allies who would go on to forge the CVA.”

Resprox looked upwards, observing the passing clouds.

“..and so the Ushra’Khan was founded by the few as we went to war on the house of Sarum – her coming to power was seen long before it took place and it had to be stopped, but her followers were many in number and the war still rages to this very day.

We sought our new home in Molden Heath, a base from where to launch our defensive against the growing Amarrian threat, a place where the young would grow to fight against those we opposed. Yet the exodus saw us scattered to the winds with my own corporation, SMaK Enterprises, being one of several to break off from the new Matari alliance.”

“A year later, under our new banner of T.R.I.A.D, we returned to the Ushra’Khan in Providence where the threat of CVA and her allies had grown tenfold. I myself witnessed and fought in the battle where we lost Unity station.”

Resprox tugged at his cloak with his left hand, as though to wrap himself within to protect against an unseen chill.

“Time passed and things unfolded that should never have happened between us, which saw T.R.I.A.D leave Ushra’Khan to fight for the Tribal Liberation Force…. today the Ushra’Khan has returned and so we have returned to them. Although our paths had taken us in different directions along our journey, the destination remains the same. May we take the next steps united!"

Resprox stared deep into the optical lens of the camera drone with purpose etched on his face, the Khumaak gripped firmly and raised above his head.

“Our history together speaks volumes....

we are T.R.I.A.D.…

we are Ushra’Khan.

We come for our people.”

Resprox brang the Khumaak crashing down on its base. As the camera feed faded, the thumping echo could still be heard as though the rallying call from a distant war drum had been sounded.

TRIAD are one of few militia organizations who really motivate me to action. May the Spirits guide your path as you begin this next step in your journey.
