I am a new Gallente pilot with about 3.75m SP at this point in time. RL buddy brought me into the game.
It is not a matter of IF I'm moving to null/low, it's a matter of WHEN - am already bored of the missions.
I am actively reading this forum and spending time in the recruitment channel in game.

The main reason for my post is most corps I have read about have 5m, 10m or even more as a minimum SP requirement Cry

What I am looking for:
US Time Zone activity
Null Sec preferably, Low Sec is OK too
Small gang PvP, maybe even a little pirating ~ not opposed to Faction War (& Incursions, I guess)
PoS after earning the Corps trust
Real Life doesn't get me kicked - as I can not be on call at all hours
A little guidance/training in the art of null/low sec living and pvp
and...
ACTIVITY Cool, although I worry about the mega corp (as the newb), unless there is some training/acclimation.

What I can offer:
Active for the evening hours and random weekend times
Willingness to learn & listen
Voice comms not an issue
I do not mind giving the corp my api

Other Thoughts:
I have ZERO interest in mining, distribution, pve groups
I am still learning the game and have varying interest in r&d, invention and manufacturing but those can be put on the back burner for a while if need be.
I think I want to go to a corp/alliance that has Sov - I assume this makes the transition a bit easier - but I am not completely sold on this. My standing with Serpentis (-6.7) and Angel (-4.3) is bad. Amarr -3.3 and Caldari -2.8 from Security missions.

About me:
I am 37.
Live in eastern USA.

Feel free to post here, mail here, mail in game or convo in game, thanks.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to a new start !!

OK.. one final bump! Need a bit more time to decide What?

Talked to a lot of recruiters and cool people. Thanks for your time, info and patience!

I am sold on:
Null Sec w/ Sov Alliance
Small gang pvp (vs. blobs) sounds a bit more my style though will participate as necessary
Stable corp in a stable alliance

Remaining hesitations:
Huge corporations with huge alliances - if I join, just a forgotten number/member
Corps very recently joining an alliance
One corp in alliance has 20% tax, one has 5% (see below) [10% seems to be a very popular/avergage number]

just curious:
***I have no experience running a corp, let alone one in null sec/large alliance. Is it reasonable to have over 20% tax for a corp - I ask this because there are other corps in same (large) alliance that have less than 10%... if it is, that is cool***

Sorry been away for the army. Yes it is reasonable to have a 10-25% tax rate in most corps. It comes down to the corps choice but dont choose corps based on tax rate.

If your still looking send me a message. I will get back to it as soon as possible.

generally its part of the perks package. taxes pay for things like Ship replacement programs, fuels the POSes alot of people use as safes etc. So a high tax rate is never bad.

Now if they dont offer anything like that then thats a different story alltogether
