Hi,
little video I made about Black Ops hotdrops in lowsec. Mostly solo stuff, nothing too fancy, but I hope you like it anyway.

It was fun but I wouldnt mind seeing some more footage of fights where you could actually lose. I mean, not trying to sound a bit elitist but it was just a load of battlecruisers dying to a ship that costs 20x their value.

STILL like I said, nice to actually see some Black Ops stuff getting around.

Yup, I realize there is not much of actual fighting happening. But all footage was shot in 3 or so days. And it being my first proper video I was just very eager to finish the thing, so I decided to go with what material I had Lol

Tbh it was nice seeing the variations all just gank something, it is a gank video tho but it was quite nice :p

I'm not sure if it's in defense of this video, but...

How many cloaky and/or hotdrop movies have you seen that were more than just ganks? It's somewhat rare.

I'm not saying something else can't be done, i've known groups in the past who have taken the asymetric style to greater heights, but it was never televised and not in recent times. Lately, DNS, Iluminatii or Bomber's bar etc., all ganks. I'm not saying they're bad at it, just that the quality of content isn't any league above this movie. The only really entertaining hotdrop-oriented movie i can remeber was Habit's Lowsec police one, and even that was mostly ganks or at least not too daunting odds. Quality of content isn't really what made that memorable, more so quality of footage and presentation coupled with decent content.

There was that one movie with some guy who solo ambushed gangs and volleyed stragglers with his Blops which was quite alright. The 10mn Bomber one was good too. They too are selective in their own way though, not comprehensive.

If anyone know of any really good bridge, blackops, recon or bomber movies - be sure to let me know. It would be awesome to see one. In the meantime i'd say this movie is pretty average and representative for how most covert groups play at the moment. No reason giving the author grief when no one else is doing it better (to my knowledge).
