I don't understand why everyone is calling this risk free pvp.

Imagine if all their guardians and the link legion simultaneously disconnected and the hostiles log-in trapped these fine pvpers with several vindicators and bhaalgorns.

You have to understand the context when watching the video. This was clearly a significant risk and if you don't understand this then clearly you are way outside of this fellow's league.

Ofc, it can feel like there is no risks in that fight with the Dominix in the last fight. That's because our Logistics was able to keep the reps on our ships.

The thing is WHAT would happen if the Blackbird had jammed some of the Logis.

This is something we don't know how it will go, so we took the risk by attacking their fleet.

If the Logis had been jammed then the risk would be very high and we would most likely have died in a fire.

So it's a risk no matter how you looks at it.

Taking 0 losses all the time is a sign you're not pushing things to their breaking point, you're operating within a safety margin, the mittens are still on. Eve is all about risk & loss, else you wouldn't care about killing the other guys.

Surely you've seen at least footage of other people's flying and understand there's a far more dynamic and fast-paced world to the other 90% of Eve PVP? Granted point-blank large blasters is fun, but it's a niche and mostly about the setup rather than what's frapsed/released.


Speaking from a tactical standpoint, you're right. We could bring out an AHAC gang, or a Recon gang, or a sniper gang and maintain the tactics as well as our RR.

But the problem is that Rebirth. tends to fight against people who hug the station with battleships, and with more RR than we have to more RR than combat ships for them. Currently, we're at war with a group called Drone Federation, who created an alliance to try to shake off the war we declared as well as a war declared by a blue alliance of ours. To give you an idea: one pilot in that corporation has three RR alts and a Loki boosting him. For those who don't know who it is, it's Jimmy15.

We would love nothing more than to take them out with an AHAC gang. Hell, I have been running around in gangs of assault frigates and AHACS with this group. But when our opponents decide the only way they can get a fight is with a battleship on station with three Guardians repping, then we have to play their game to get kills.

EDIT: As an aside, this video demonstrates what Rebirth. can do when we decide to play. The video is from a war target's perspective, and the fight was a pre-arranged 4v4, with our WTs trying to run like bitches.

LOL, all i see in this post is jealousness. We knows exactly what risks is.

I'm not saying it's bad ass to PVP in a 5 bill isk Vindi, but i'm saying it's damn fun.

Oh, considering that you are a 0.0 space fanboi who probably are hugging and ass kissing like 5k+ blues, then i have no problem to accept that you think my video is ****, but if you want to prove that you are any better than us in PVP, then again, you're welcome to drop a war dec on us and bring a fight if you have the balls to do that.

But after watching the YouTube link Anya posted, i'm pretty sure you won't fight us as long you have at least 2-3 times more the numbers than we have Lol.

Just because you live in 0.0 space doesn't mean you do real PVP pal. And the amount of kills you have doesn't tell us anything about how good you are in a real PVP situation.

I dont live in 0.0 space, I live in a wh mate. You dont even know who VoC or Aquila is, for the exact same reason your "pvp" video sucks. We pvp in WH/nullsec, you grief in highsec. If you actually left your RR in highsec and went out to solo/small gang in hostile space where you cant dock, you might actually lose some ships and see what real risk is.

You cant defend against every ones opinion because when EVERYONE is saying the same thing, the opinion becomes a fact.

The fact being you are pretty lame and empire pvp as it is, is not pvp. Its griefing. In highsec its about who has the most RR combined with DPS. In lowsec its about who can lock the fastest. In 0.0 sov warfare its who has the most supercaps.

What I do, what my corp does, what the real pvp'ers out there do is skillbased and they simply put, have more skill than your entire corp combined.

However you will never see the real picture, people like you just don't understand and they never will.
