As of this writing, we have the following perversion in the Gal/Cal front;

Gallente has 13 systems vulnerable
Caldari has 16 systems vulnerable

Most of these systems have been vulnerable for a week or two.

This is because;

a) both sides doing what you mentioned
b) both sides are apathetic to bunker busting
c) both sides waiting to ninja bust for upgrade day
d) all of the above

FW = nullsec lite = metagaming lite.

At this point, we're just waiting to see which side will have enough alts of the opposing militia so they can bust bunkers for them. You laugh but I would not be surprised if this eventually comes true.

Welcome to FW.

With point B - many Caldari players don't seem to mind the odd bunker bust - but the boredom of busting 3 or more in a row is mind numbing.
To do 13 or 16 in a row would send any fleet crazy.

Lowering the Hubs hit points by 1/2 wouldn't hurt. Structure grinding makes defensive plexes seem fun.

It was good fun a few weeks ago when you guys chased off a bunker fleet and then everyone hit head to head in Eha. Was an expensive day but well worth it to see some big Militia fleets.

More big fights like that would be cool. Due to my timezone I don't see many big FW fleets.

You know that there are structure grinding ships like dreads or supers, right ? Hell, even 30 gank tier 3s will melt an ihub. And anyone thinking to drop on that fleet would have to first consider dealing with 35-40k dps.

We've bashed a few bunkers lately and I can tell you with dreads and supers it's piece of cake, plus it gets the adrenaline going while you sit there checking local every 2 seconds :)

For someone writing endless walls of text almost every single day, you surely didn't think about FW never ever for more than a few seconds.

While you were ******* around, looking for "good fights" we were fighting hard for Devoid (before Inferno). I was finishing dozens of plexes that you just left. Then you were defplexing for standing (those level4 agenst won't talk to any new alts), DESTROYING OUR HARD WORK. Then we were chasing your LP whore alts, wasting valuable time while you got even more richer. Then we burnt out, lost most of our ships, and yes, war was over.

That's the general feeling nowadays. Could have been different. We were holding Devoid with less than 10 people. If all you lazy pricks would have helped before Inferno, then Minmatar never gets near T4, much less farmer alts on their side, and there would be still a war. Now they let you take a few systems here and there so they can retake it for billions next day.

And Bolster is right. You are not in FW, at least not in Amarr Militia.

Wow cynthia trying to alienate more of the loyal amarr militia?

I never claimed I was all gung ho about the pve game called occupancy plexing . Yes I am more interested in good fights. Hence the endless walls of text asking ccp to make plexing a pvp mechanic.

But I would run plexes occasionally. But yeah if I have 7 minutes to go on a plex and the wartargets leave system I am leaving because I am using plexing as a pvp mechanic. But once the consequences were announced I did start finishing them if there is not too much time to go. (before I would never bother finishing them) Sov plexing is too broken for me to be truly bothered with it in its current state.

But, hey, why are you complaining that you finished my plexes after all the wartargets left? I saved you time collecting your vp or lp or whatever. Or I ran the timer up for any minmatar that wanted to plex.

I have about 20kvp between my characters. Its not great but I am sure its better than average for the amarr militia or really the average of any militia for that matter.

Instead of feeding minmatar isk by constantly flipping raa (or worse defensive plexing) allowing minmatar plexers to get dozens of billiosn of isk each time I would plex offensively. No I never flipped sisiede or Dal. But those were generally always upgraded systems. Every plex I ran cost minmatar lp. The egglehende contingent cost the minmatar litterally dozens of billions of isk in lp.

Meanwhile people like you just kept feeding the minmatar isk. Now you leave us to deal with the mess your stupid strategies left us. Namely a minmatar militia whose wealth rivals null sec alliances. Thanks for your help, goodbye.

Oh and as far as before inferno I was moving my stuff and plexing when I could. I was encouraging corpmates to plex as well. I don't know how you were plexing but I saw allot of amarr sitting in one large fleet running a single plex. If they would have spread out and followed a general rule of, 1 pilot per plex when possible, we would be much better off. The emotional push to save the pipeline was too strong for reason to overcome. But whatever your post demonstrates rationality is not your bag.

I never had any alt run plexes for the minmatar. My alt already had decent standings with minmatar to run level 3 missions. So I ran level 3 missions to coninue to build the standings. You know you can do that right? Running missions for an npc corp builds your standings.

Instead of thinking, many like you, get all bent out of shape for pure role play reasons. Let me ask you, lets say I made my isk by having an alt run high sec missions for boundless creation. Would you say "Ahaa! you must have had that alt running defensive plexes for minmatar to get the standings!"

Start thinking before you react. You will do better at this game.

Good for him. I am not interested in having alts running pve plexes around the clock. Sorry if you think everyone who shares my sentiment is not really in amarr. I do run plexes occassionally. But IMO the plexing mechanic is still too stupid to get carried away with. I am not interested in spending what little eve time I have with alts spinning a buttons.

But lets look at what he accomplished.

He just gave minmatar plexers at least 2,340,000 lp. Assuming minmatar plexed it back only using minors. If the average plex was a medium he gave them about 4 million lp. At 8000isk per lp he delived to them about 18 billion isk if all minors and 32 billion isk if they averaged a medium.

Now if he would have spent that time running offensive plexes in systems that the minmatar had upgraded then he would have *cost* the minmatar half of those figures in isk straight up from his plexing. Not to mention the fact it would be demoralizing for the minmatar to have to plex that back up for no gain.

Really by doing defensive plexing instead of offensive plexing he added between 27 billion and 48 billion isk to minmatar coffers.

I may be a nobody in the militia, but at least I can add.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

oh oh is it time for the "we told you so" @ ccp chants yet? :D

also makes me sad that to earn isk in fw, you have to shoot your self in the foot to do it.... Clearly the signs of a poorly thought out and failing eve career system.

There are no other ways for you to make isk? All this means is that you have a price you're willing to accept to be a traitor. Big smile

Actually i have not sunk to that level yet... and do not recommend to my corp members that they do it either.

We havnt been loosing many ships due to pvers not wanting to fight while avoiding the mass blobs of minnies when they do show up all guns blazing to protect a system they dont even care about.

So the strategy is to blob like no blob has blobbed before? (all that summary is showing is that you are good at getting blobs with "big" ships together)

I wasnt going to reply but..meh wth

The first fight you came at us with BCs when we had destoryers and a couple cruisers. W/e we took the fight

The second fight...I was incredibly pissed. Not going on as to what was happening at the time. But lets just put it this way I have never been more pissed as an FC. Except actually the other night at the Ihub in ostingle. That really got my blood boiling.

I dont care if we get outblobed, it happens. Im not gonna cry about it however that fleet was "the school of hard knocks" for a lot of people. it served a purpose and point was well resonnated, lets just hope people learned from it.

It was Nenn and the reasonw as to go in and show the militia what the fighting would be like and that the stretgy that was put forth (that people didnt want to do) was indeed needed. Sometimes hard knocks are needed.

Other then that...it was a dessy and a cruiser lost by each player, not like we went 16B in losses to 1b killed...wait that was you guys :)

delete - poor reading skills. This fight was 8:1 ratio which is Tier 4 : Tier 1, and doable with your afk plexing alt army. :)
