Reboot

Edit: Admittedly the show was quite decent in its time given the level of technology that they had, so I wonder what they'll be capable of now with cgi.

If evidence based on previous movies is a good indicator they will be able to digitally remove the storyline.

I hope it doesn't follow the trend of Transformer clones.

Personally, im going to see it on general purpose. But some stuff Ive heard makes me do a double take. So far just rumor, but Robo's helmet will be clear allowing his face to be fully visible. This could change, and I hope so. People recognize Robocop anywhere from his helmet alone

No Micheal Bay and its got Gary Oldman and Samuel L Jackson. That's 3 +'s in my book so far.

This image disagrees with that rumor. They're in the viral marketing/teaser phase right now so it's hard to find solid artwork, but that looks pretty legit.

One of the first thing I remember from the original movie, is the f***ing gun, they got to preserve that mofo gun. Albeit, a simple gun can look impressive when you're 8yo...

What, the big anti-tank rifle? It's more or less a Beretta .50 tricked out to look futuristic.

I think he means the super-glock that Robocop packed around, but I could be mistaken and it could have been Red Foreman's .50.

I thought that was what he meant at first, but the more I thought about it, the more plain the gun seemed in my own memories. It was an automatic pistol with a barrel extender on it. Now the in-leg holster thing...I'm pretty sure that's going to stay in some form.

First ive heard of this.... and very interested.

IMHO all they have to do is take the cheese out of the bad guys (ALA the modern Batmans) and your cooking on profit.
To be fair, it wasnt that cheesy in the first place and got serious kudos from me for the chemical dip then a van bonnet (hood) incident.
