I bought lots and lots of PI goods and I don't know what to do . . . .

I regularly trade items that move in HIGH VOLUMES on the Jita marketplace. Unfortunately, I misjudged an item and bought 40,000+ units of industrial explosives. They don't sell very often at all, and so I thought I'd get rid of them by turning them into nano-factories. I bought 40,000+ unites of Ukomi Superconductors too and started some PI processing - then I realized that it would take me forever to do it all on one planet.

So . . . now i'm stuck with tons of nano-factory building materials and I have no idea now to get rid of them.

I have 6k of each listed on the market and industrial explosives are selling at 15% below what I bought them for and still they're not moving. . . .

What have you guys done in situations like this? I thought of just auctioning them all at once, but thought I might lose big this way . . . .

You can try moving some into the other trade hubs, "Bulk Trade" mailing list, or just forget about them and let them slowly sell.

How much ISK are you in for on these items so far? That would have a pretty big affect on how I would proceed.

What was your buy price on the Ukomi Superconductors and Industrial Explosives?

I assume you want to clear out your inventory of both since PI isn't something you're looking at doing long-term. And your buy price is something people are going to have to know if they're going to give you any worthwhile advice on how to walk back from the cliff.

My average buy price on the Nano-Factories was 32600.03. I have 38,085 left for a total investment of 1.24 billion isk.

My average buy price on the Ukomi Superconductors was 34677.18. I have 39000 left for a total investment of 1.35 billion isk.

So my total investment is currently about 2.6 Bil. :(

Sell to buy orders and take the loss. Obviously.

No can do. Quantities are far too low.

Definitely try the bulk trade mailing list. I tune in frequently and EVERYTHING is sold there and moves pretty fast. Hopefully it will work for you too.

Yeah the bulk list is perhaps your best bet or perhaps a post in Sell Orders or even a post in Science & Industry.

Otherwise I've got nothing in terms of a solution. Sorry.

II have to agree with another poster, check out other trade hubs. regional buy order prices.

a 15% loss on most of the stock might be an option if hard times press you, otherwise, keep selling it slowly but surely.

While you probably know, if you don't hink you can sell it all in 90 days, stick up chunks at a time. Saves on brokers fees.

You do know that everytime you modify a buy/sell order the expiration time gets reset to whatever duration you set it for right?

Maybe it wouldn't make a difference due to the quantity, but couldn't you do pi processing on 5 planets?

Really? Good to know. Though selling in lower chunks cuts down on the big whack of broker fees coming off at once.

To the OP, the recent dev blog seems to have solved your problem.
