Which of the two would preform better in Caldari space and which of the two would preform better overall. So far it seems that the Kronos is the least popular of the marauders.

In Cal space you're going to be dealing with Kin/Therm | Kin/Therm or put another way, - Guristas are the local rats. Lasers are going to have an amusing time when dealing with Guri, - leading to your Kronos with its / hybrid weapon system likely fairing better on average within the State.

eh, I'm starting to think the paladin would be better in caldari space. For guristas extra just take the blitz (aka shoot structures to avoid the respawns). On the Assault just use the gate and kill the far group. Intercept the saboteurs its mostly small stuff, all the frigs you should be able to kill with 1 shot. Guristas spies just kill the group with the spies. Vengeance is the only kill all that I can think of.

outside of that tbh I have mostly been getting drone and sansha missions. oh and a bunch of angels extravaganzas, probably best off switching to pulse lasers and maybe a web, or maybe keep the tachs and swap a tc for a web. I haven't flow an AE in an amarr boat in a while.

looks like by dropping down to meta tachs you can squeeze an ab on the paladin, dunno why I didn't think of that before (probably because I have an ab nightmare, or maybe because of the large dps drop) although the missions where you would want an ab aren't all that bad, and a bit of a dps drop probably wouldn't matter too much.

True enough. But then again, if you want to do it for lulz you can easily gank ANY mission boat, can't you? And while I wouldn't be happy if you ganked me, mind you that even with that expensive module this Kronos pays for itself in a month or two.

That said, with a third hardener the repper can be downgraded of course. But with the shiny one, you have one low utility slot, which is nice.

Cap booster, you love it or you hate it. I learned to love. With Kronos' natural cap recharge the whole ship is stable with everything running, as long as there are charges in cargo, so actually the CCC is redundant here. As I said, I'm keeping it for lack of better idea (though I think I may replace it with the range or falloff rig)

I find the more people you involve the less lulz it becomes. with 2 I can do it with me and my alt, and still be able to loot on a third. for 3 I'd have to get another person to help. many missions ships are shield tanked and usually have enough shield that a third would be needed. easy is a strange thing to define, for the goons I wouldn't be too surprised if they showed up in 100 rifters and suicided someone, but I'm probably not going to be able to get more than a few people to go gank something.

Typical response for missile rats: SNI or Tengu.

Response for having some fun: Mach or Nightmare.

Response for proving whether you have skillz or not: T1 BC (no, not Drake). :)

Im starting to lean more towars the Kronos simply because of the fact that training gallente BS to 5 and railguns to 5 will make my navythron better while im still training to get into a Kronos. The damage type is great and it looks awesome to boot. Although it would be fun to shoot lasers. If I go anywhere else I could always just use an Apoc.
