It had best not cost aurum. It should be LP based or manufactured (a ship would cost basically nothing to paint for the amount of money a capsuleer makes)

Just as useful as one's profile picture. Does looking like a badass make you a badass or give you combat bonuses? No. Yet people place a lot of value on just this one picture.

Will putting a Rainbow Dash cutie mark on your ship make you do 20% more damage? No.

(It will make it 20% cooler though)

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

I'd like some customization, but I do have this question: Since when do we have... ships? I mean, when I am ratting or PVPing, I Am zoomed out so far that the entire game is a series of red +s and white []s.

I know it's mostly cause I'm fighting things from 30+km off, but... outside of zooming in so I hear missiles and sentry drone gunfire so I literally don't fall asleep while ratting (Gallente for life, yo) I seldom get to see the EVE models.

Perhaps a "Superdeformed" option, where the scale of ships is fiddled with to make it so you at least see your ships even when zoomed out to 30+km?

Either that or include the custom image when you view the ship's info....and/or on killmails if you happen to blow it up.

I think the profile pic is also a bit stupid, too. Way to be a dickbag about it without realizing how stupid you'll end up looking on the other side of your little rainbow.

I just want the ships appearance to get the same love as the character creation. Besides to make walk in station is only useful if you are in a station. If you are in astiaon all the time you are missing out on 99.9999999% of what make

this was called Non-Linear Inverse Perspective Scaling aka NLIPS, it was invented in one of the Homeworlds, and absolutely noone used it because they had no idea what NLIPS meant and it sounded vaguely perverted.

I don't really care about custom colours on ships but having wear would be good.

Would be nice to have my ships look like they are full of rust and ready to fall apart.

A sliding scale of wear - like the one for the planes in IL2 Cliffs of Dover would be cool.

It's only an idea anyway guys. I for one look at my ship all the time because I select targets from the overview. Even when they are 55 kms out so I really liked the idea but to each their own.
