I am currently in a Wh where all I can scan down are sigs to other WHs. I was wondering if this was something that happens often or if the WH I am in is just emtpy. I have checked my filters and scanned in hi-sec and found anomalies to make sure, I was just curious if this was normal or sites would/should eventually spwn in the WH.

Pretty normal. It's random. You can go days sometimes with no new anomolies, and then some days where bam, you get many at once.

Unfortunately they don't come back with any rhyme or reason. Some days I have seen more show up than I can run...and I have had 2-3 days where nothing shows up. It's pretty random and utterly boring when you hit a dry spell.

There are some theories that respawns don't occur until other wormholes in your Region or Constellation have had their anomalies cleared, but I have not personally tested this.

So if you have 3-4 other Wormholes that are never getting cleared (null-sec statics and such) you could very well be waiting on somebody that does daytrips to go into one of those and clean them up a bit (or for the anoms to despawn).

especially in lower class this is rather common. If a wormhole is occupied by active people they will run the sites when they pop up and finish them rather sooner then later. especially in c3 and 1 where you dont have a static to farm many people clear the ladars and gravs just as killing all sleepers

in c5 and 6 most anoms and other combat sites will be escalated with capitals. since the escalations reset each downtime its not much appreciated if you finish a site in a home system. therefor usually high classes will always have a few things in them. also, because high class always have a static to another wormhole, if you run out of combat sites and still want to bear up, you can run the static anoms or mag/radars. there is no need to get so desperate to mine gas or mine the grav sites out.

It's a C2, so no one's jelly.

I found a c3 today with zero anomolies and the only sigs were the null sec static and a low sec k162. That is the first time I have ever seen one so clear, and there were no occupants either.

That's just the space tumbleweeds. Deep 4s (I.E. C4s with C4-C6 statics) are chock full of 'em.

There's at least one armor-friendly C4 that pops up that has something like 20+ noms that is completely unoccupied. Unfortunately, I'm still a shield pilot, so can't take advantage of it very efficiently. It's a Christmas waiting to happen for a small armor gang, though.

Bob is always present, watching you traverse space accessable only though wormholes. He is the constant reminder that there is always someone watching you, waiting for your moment of weakness to appear and claim his toll for collecting the bounty of his realm.
