Hey guys im trying to expand my research/manufacturing capabilities and i was curious if there was a way to get BPO's other than buying them from players. When i search for Covetor BPO in my region theres only 1 for sale. Where do these BPO's come from? if they are only player sold they have to come from somewhere, otherwise they wouldnt exist.

Perhaps they are sold in the ORE systems? I can only see a few on EVE Centrals search result.

BPOs are sold by NPCs, but not all NPCs sell all BPOs. For example, Retriever and covetor BPOs are only sold by ORE (Outer Ring Excavations), which only has about 4 stations in a few systems in nullsec.

I don't think so. One tutorial mission gives a ammo BPC, but that's it.

They are only sold in ORE stations. A trip to Nullsec for you my good man if you want to buy it.

These are handy for finding out which NPC sell BPO:

BPO Calc

Chruker's BPO Section

ORE are the only source for:
* All mining ships BPO
* Mining gang links BPO
* Mining Director skill book

ORE only have 2 systems: NM-OEA and 4C-B7X.

I've made the trip a few times. It is a fairly long trip from Jita. I recommend a T3 ship fit for nulsec travel. Avoid the Orvolle -> PF-346 -> FD-MLJ entry route as those are by far the most dangerous systems in the entire route. Also watch your session change timer, as you can get into trouble if you warp too soon to a gate that is really close.

With the exception of the Orca - that is also available from Deep Core Mining (I think) stations.
