So I'm on twitter this morning and suddenly CCP Zulu tosses up:

"Bumping a botter on live TV. *link* Check."

So I head over. Guy is apparently debugging a bot and streaming the whole thing on own3d. CCP is in local. Bumping the bot with polaris frigates, the local smack starts:

"It's bowling day!"
confused locals ask what that is
"It's like boxing day but with bowling"
"It happens when someone streams himself botting and we come mock him in local"
*stream dies*

Photographic evidence

I don't think I've ever seen someone owned so hard in my 8 years of eve.

That's some heavy artifacting... anyone catch a screen of the actual bumping occuring?

The stream is down, and there's nothing to see anyway. If you really wanted it, you could look at CCP Zulu's tweets he's made today. He needs more followers anyway.

Bumping?? The moneyshot was him pulling up his bot interface so he could continue his coding work, looks like he was debugging the bot program....while still streaming, of course. Ugh

So when regular players decide to get together and bump a botter or two, few if anyone takes notice, and those who do scold them for not reporting the bots according to protocol. But when a player with a blue name does it, everyone is thrilled and comes to see the special happening.

It's nice to see that nothing has changed in 5 years, and that CCP still have their monopoly on fun. Good job, CCP. Fight the good fight! Kill those pesky funs that try to run away and hang out with someone who isn't on your payroll! Big smile

Nice! LOL

CCP should secretly tag him and his accounts with a criminal flag, set the timer to 15 minutes so when the culprit starts mining -- Concord shows up and blows him up.

Because if CCP are doing the bumping, the assumption is that is has already being bought to their attention, and they're just having a little fun while charging the ban hammer.
